Warning! Spoilers for She-Hulk #3 by Marvel Comics

In a new look at She-Hulk #3, one of Scarlet Witch's forgotten victims, the Jack of Hearts, makes a surprise return to the pages of Marvel Comics. In a new cover reveal for the issue from superstar artist Jen Bartel, Jack of Hearts holds an umbrella over She-Hulk as rain pours down on them. The former Avenger, who hasn't regularly been seen in main continuity since being brought back to life (only to explode) by Scarlet Witch, seems to be playing a part in Jennifer Walter's newest series.

Jack of Hearts, co-created by Bill Mantlo and Keith Giffen, was a superpowered hero who developed a silly-looking suit to control his unpredictable powers. Jack of Hearts designed his costume after the playing card of the same name, which prevented his body from exploding. However, after knowing he couldn't contain his powers much longer, he exploded in space, dying instantly. However, when Scarlet Witch had a breakdown in the pages of Avengers: Disassembled, Jack of Hearts was brought back to life, only to explode and die again. The hero would appear in Marvel Zombies Supreme but has been dead in the main Marvel canon for some time. Now, it seems, Jack of Hearts will be making a surprise comeback.

In the image, Jack holds an umbrella over She-Hulk's head as heavy rain comes down on both heroes. Bartel's cover is gorgeous, as it also features a beautiful She-Hulk corner box.
