Warning! Spoilers for Who Is... Scarlet Witch/America Chavez #1 by Marvel Comics

With America Chavez and Scarlet Witch about to appear together in the MCU's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Marvel Comics is reminding readers of their comic book origins, powers, and more in a brand new Marvel Unlimited series. Who Is... The Scarlet Witch and Who Is...  America Chavez will reintroduce the characters in a new series of one-shot specials that will give readers key information about each hero.

Scarlet Witch is one of Marvel's most powerful heroes. The former villain, created by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee and debuting in X-Men #4, has slowly become a complex hero. Her mutant powers have been an asset to the Avengers and also caused considerable chaos in the Marvel Universe. Meanwhile, America Chavez is still a relatively new character to the comics, as the Nick Dragotta and Joe Casey creation debuted in 2011's Vengeance #1. Chavez, who's starred in her own solo series and team-up books like Young Avengers, can create star-shaped portals across the Multiverse to different realities. Chavez's powers will seemingly play a big role when Xochitl Gomez brings the hero to life alongside Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch in the upcoming MCU film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
