It's October and that now means two big things: Halloween and another Saw movie.
Saw VI is set to release a week before Halloween, continuing its annual tradition, and we have the brand new trailer to show you for it. The theatrical trailer for Saw VI came attached to Zombieland this weekend and is available online courtesy of Yahoo.
Check it out after the jump.
The synopsis for the latest installment of the torture franchise reads as follows:
Special Agent Strahm is dead, and Detective Hoffman has emerged as the unchallenged successor to Jigsaw’s legacy. However, when the FBI draws closer to Hoffman, he is forced to set a game into motion, and Jigsaw’s grand scheme is finally understood.

If you missed them, several new Saw VI stills debuted two weeks back, most of them can be seen from this video.
There's really no stopping this franchise with the profit it makes on each low-budget installment and a strong niche market. Each installment has banked over $100 million at the worldwide box-office and a ton more on home video sales. I wonder how many they can continue on for? Even after death, Jigsaw still has an ongoing presence. There's at least another two on the way after Saw VI and that likely won't be the end.
Are you a fans of the Saw series and will you be checking this one out in theaters?
Saw VI opens in theaters October 23, 2009.
