Peacock, NBC's streaming service, is bringing back Saved by the Bell, and the revival has gotten people talking for months now. The original teen comedy show is pretty dated but still charming enough to make fans smile at memories of watching the gang get detention, try to find dates, and support one another through life's ups and downs.

Zack Morris is a troublemaker, that's for sure, but will he be in the revival? If so, how much has he changed? And more importantly, who will be returning to Bayside High? While there are some familiar cast members who have already confirmed their appearance, there are others fans would love seeing as well.

Confirmed: Max

Ed Alonzo's Saved by the Bell character, Max, will be on the revival. He runs the diner, The Max, where the characters hang out.

Like the Peach Pit on Beverly Hills, 90210 or Central Perk on Friends, The Max is a crucial environment for the Saved by the Bell gang. It's nice to know that the same thing will ring true for the new characters, too.

Should Return: Mr. Belding

Mr. Belding (Dennis Haskins) is a huge part of Saved by the Bell. While he's strict and he doesn't always get along with Zack, their banter is pretty adorable, and it's part of what makes the show so funny (and cheesy). As principal, Belding is a member of the teaching staff who is very important to fans.

It doesn't look like Belding is coming back to the revival as there is another principal now, but he should. He could even make a brief appearance by checking in on his favorite student, Zack, and seeing how he's doing now.

Confirmed: Kelly Kapowski

Tiffani Thiessen will also be back on the revival as Kelly. Mark-Paul Gosselaar mentioned that they would share one or two episodes.

It would be strange to have a Saved by the Bell revival without Kelly as she's one of the most popular characters. She and Zach were always the perfect couple — even when they were fighting, breaking up, or making each other jealous — and it'll be intriguing to see where they stand now.

Should Return: Screech

The characters weren't always nice to Screech, but this nerdy character was a big reason why people liked the show so much. It seems like Dustin Diamond should definitely return to the revival to reprise this role.

Perhaps he could come back for one episode and he could show everyone how much he has changed. Maybe he's wealthy and successful now. Or maybe he's the same nerd that he always was but now it's cool to be dorky, so he's doing alright.

Confirmed: Zack Morris

Would anyone have thought that Zack Morris would become the governor of California? Well, that's exactly what happened, and this character is definitely coming back to the revival. That's good news as he's a beloved Saved by the Bell icon.

Zack and Kelly are parents now and they have a son named Mac (played by Mitchell Hoog). When the show returns, Zack shut down some schools that weren't very wealthy, and now he's decided that these students should go to Bayside High.

Should Return: Lisa Turtle

Not everyone comes back for a reboot, but it's always tough for fans to see a beloved show return without all of the cast members who made it special in the first place.

Why can't Lisa Turtle, played by Lark Voorhies, come back? This character was always the most fashionable person at Bayside High, and it would have been cool to see her as an art teacher or something along those lines.

Confirmed: Jessie Spano

Elizabeth Berkley as Jessie Spano in Saved by the Bell

Jessie Spano now has a son and he's a student at Bayside. Since this character, played by Elizabeth Berkeley, was the subject of some of the greatest episodes, it makes sense that she's returning.

Is Jessie still passionate and caring? It seems like she has to be, as this was such a big part of her personality that fans will be eager to see what she's like today.

Should Return: Stacey Carosi

Leah Remini played Stacey, whom the gang meets when they all work at the Malibu Sands Beach Club. Her dad owns the club and she is very wealthy.

If Stacey came back, she could be running the club and the gang could all end up there again. Perhaps this time, instead of working there, they're just hanging out for some summer fun.

Confirmed: A.C. Slater

According to Glamour, A.C. Slater (Mario Lopez) now teaches gym at Bayside High, which is a perfect way for this character to come back.

Slater is one of the most popular characters on the show and it'll be fascinating to see how he has evolved. Back in the day, he and Zack would compete for girls' attention and they were very immature.

Should Return: Violet Anne Bickerstaff

If Screech can come back, so can Violet (played by Tori Spelling). This would not only be fun because she was an entertaining character but because Tori Spelling has become so famous now.

Maybe Violet and Screech are married now and one of their kids is attending Bayside High. It could happen, right?
