As players continue to progress in Satisfactory they will acquire more and more objects and machines that allow them to do a wide array of different tasks. Some of these objects will allow the player to more effectively explore the world around them or defeat hostile creatures, but most of the machines will help the player create better factories. Those who want to see everything that Satisfactory has to offer will need to work on getting their hands on all of these different machine types.
With Satisfactory's most recent update players now also have access to a new machine in the game called the Particle Accelerator. This machine is absolutely integral to the process of creating nuclear power in the game which is all but necessary if players hope to succeed in the later parts of the game. This guide shows players how to get the Particle Accelerator and what it is used for.
Satisfactory: How to Acquire the Particle Accelerator
In order to even craft the Particle Accelerator players will first need to unlock its recipe, which is a very long process that could take upwards of a hundred hours to accomplish. This is due to the fact that players will have to every tier up to level eight and then complete every other milestone to complete the Particle Enrichment milestone. Completing the Particle Enrichment milestone will require the player to acquire:
- x400 Electromagnetic Control Rod - Obtainable by completing the Nuclear Power milestone and crafting in the Assembler.
- x400 Cooling System - Must complete the Advanced Aluminum Production milestone and then craft in the Blender.
- x200 Fused Modular Frame - After the Advanced Aluminum Production milestone is completed the player can craft this using the Blender.
- x100 Turbo Motor - The player must complete the Leading Edge Production milestone to craft this in the Manufacturer.
Once players have crafted and sent all of these items away they will have finally completed the Particle Enrichment milestone, which grants them access to the Particle Accelerator. In order to craft it the player will need to use:
- x25 Radio Control Unit
- x100 Electromagnetic Control Rod
- x10 Supercomputer
- x50 Cooling System
- x20 Fused Modular Frame
- x10 Turbo Motor
The biggest reason to have the Particle Accelerator is due to the fact that it allows the player the ability to craft the best fuel source in the game: Plutonium Fuel Rods. With these in hand, the player will be able to automate entire factories with just one or two power plants rather than having to set up row after row of electricity-producing buildings. On top of this, the player will need this building to create Nuclear Pasta, which is a project part used for the Space Elevator.
