If Sasha Banks leaves WWE for All-Elite Wrestling, there are a number of huge main event dream matches waiting for "The Legit Boss." Sasha Banks is one of the biggest names in World Wrestling Entertainment today, male or female. Banks is a multi-time RAW Women's Champion and Women's Tag Team Champion (with Bayley and Naomi), and a former Smackdown Women's Champion. Sasha and Bianca Belair are also the first African-American women to main event WrestleMania.

Sasha Banks calls herself "The Blueprint," "The Standard," and "The Conversation." Yet despite her global stardom and her myriad accomplishments, Sasha Banks has had many issues with WWE Creative in terms of how the company books her character and the women's division in general. On May 16, 2022, Banks and Naomi abandoned the Women's Tag Team Titles and walked out during a taping of WWE Monday Night RAW over creative differences. WWE quickly suspended Banks and Naomi and scapegoated them on television. By June, rumors swirled that WWE has released Sasha Banks from her contract, which was "confirmed" by numerous pro wrestling news sites but not by WWE or Banks herself. Sasha and Naomi have also stayed silent on social media since their walkout. It's possible Sasha and WWE are privately resolving their dispute so she can return to the company, but it's also possible that Banks is indeed going to be a free agent in the near future. AEW would be the logical place Sasha would jump to in order to keep wrestling for a global TV audience.

If Sasha Banks does indeed leave WWE, then she would leave behind her "Sasha Banks" character if she chooses to jump ship to AEW. Even if she can't be billed as "Sasha Banks," Mercedes Varnado (Sasha's real name) is a bona fide needle-mover who would bring immense global star power and unmatched in-ring skills as a performer to AEW's women's division. Varnado is already a mainstream crossover star, thanks to her starring as Koska Reeves in The Mandalorian season 2. Varnado has also won an ESPY Award and she has walked the red carpet for Marvel Studios movie premieres. And Varnado will always be thought of as Sasha Banks even if she wrestles under her real name or another persona. In AEW, Banks would have an entire roster of talented women she has never faced before. These matches would become instant main events on AEW Dynamite, AEW Rampage, or pay-per-view.

Sasha Banks vs. Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.

Dr. Britt Baker AEW

Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. is the biggest female superstar in AEW and she would be the top dream match for Sasha Banks, especially from a marquee standpoint. The irrepressible Dr. Baker is a former AEW Women's World Champion whose meteoric rise as AEW's top female heel, thanks to her scathing promos and self-aggrandizing persona, elevated AEW's women's division. Baker also made her bones and earned accolades thanks to a year-long feud with Thunder Rosa that saw both women face each other in two brutal and bloody hardcore matches that raised the bar for women's wrestling in AEW. Moreso, Baker is one of the brashest talkers in AEW and she would have no shortage of Sasha's WWE backstage drama to draw from in her promos to sell a dream match with Banks. In short, Sasha Banks vs Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. would be like printing money for AEW.

Sasha Banks vs. Thunder Rosa

Thunder Rosa AEW

In many ways, Sasha Banks vs. current reigning AEW World Women's Champion Thunder Rosa is the most intriguing potential AEW dream match. Rosa has been dominant since defeating Dr. Britt Baker in March 2022 for the title. As champion, Thunder has defeated Nyla Rose, Serena Deeb (in one of the best matches at AEW Double or Nothing), and Toni Storm. Rosa has wrestled all over the world and brings a complex skillset as well as an unrivaled ferocity to the ring. Thunder prides herself on being a fighting champion willing to take on all comers, and if Rosa were to defeat Sasha Banks, it would cement Thunder Rosa as one of the biggest female wrestling stars in the world. How would Sasha's smooth, and flamboyant style mesh with Rosa's gritty technical proficiency? Thunder Rosa is the mountain Sasha Banks would have to climb if she wants to be AEW Women's World Champion.

Sasha Banks vs. Jade Cargill

Jade Cargill AEW TBS Champion

Sasha Banks vs. TBS Champion Jade Cargill is another potential big-money marquee match for AEW. The first and only TBS Champion, the charismatic and intimidating Jade is undefeated. Although Cargill has only wrestled 30+ matches, she has risen to every challenge, and Jade's power and ferocity have allowed her to overcome far more experienced opponents. Like Sasha, Jade is a needle mover whose presence intrigues fans outside of professional wrestling. But Banks has infinitely more experience and she has elevated WWE opponents similar to Jade to memorable matches. Cargill also surrounds herself with a faction called "The Baddies," but Sasha has been there and done that with her own Team B.A.D. If it ever transpires, Sasha Banks vs. Jade Cargill could make magic together in an AEW dream match.

Sasha Banks vs. Toni Storm

Toni Storm Sasha Banks

Toni Storm recently jumped to AEW because of her problems with WWE Creative, which is similar to Sasha Banks' current situation. In AEW, Storm has been rejuvenated and has already amassed an impressive won-loss record, even defeating Dr. Britt Baker on AEW Dynamite. However, Toni lost her championship match against Thunder Rosa at AEW Forbidden Door. Storm has wrestled all over the world and mastered different styles while winning championships in every company she's worked for. Sasha and Toni actually teamed up when they were both on the WWE Smackdown roster in late 2021, and they're friends. Still, good friends often make better enemies. Banks and Storm have not faced each other in the ring yet and "Toni Time" for "The Boss" would not only be a tremendous AEW dream match but Sasha and Toni would both bring their WWE pedigrees to AEW's marquee.

Sasha Banks vs. Serena Deeb

Serena Deeb AEW

Serena Deeb would be an intense challenge for Sasha Banks in AEW. "The Professor" is a former NWA Women's Champion and one of the most dangerous wrestlers in AEW. A master in the squared circle, Deeb is rightly feared, especially after her brutal rivalry with Hikaru Shida, which Serena ultimately won by savagely and repeatedly injuring the former AEW Women's Champion. If Sasha Banks jumps to AEW, Serena Deeb might be one of the first to violently greet "The Boss" at the door. Indeed, Deebs would be a major test for Sasha Banks' ability to cope with a violent and relentless opponent. Sasha has faced many tough opponents in the past but few would be as ruthless as Serena Deeb in an AEW dream match.

Sasha Banks vs. Tay Conti

Tay Conti Sammy Guevara

Tay Conti vs. Sasha Banks would bring serious heat in the ring if "The Boss" jumps to AEW. A black belt in judo and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Conti worked her way up the AEW roster and was a beloved babyface who teamed with Anna Jay. But when Tay's real-life relationship with Sammy Guevara became public knowledge, the fans turned on them both. This revealed fascinating new shades of Guevara and Conti, who took to being heels like a duck to water. Conti is continually improving in the ring and she brings a ton of charisma that would be an intriguing contrast to Sasha Banks' star power and experience. Conti vs. Banks would be a highly entertaining and, likely, very competitive AEW dream match.

Sasha Banks vs. Kris Statlander

Kris Statlander AEW

Perhaps the most underrated woman in AEW, especially considering how dynamic she is in the ring, Kris Statlander vs. Sasha Banks is a dream match that AEW fans would flock to. Statlander recently ditched her oddball "alien" persona and took on a darker look that has really resonated with AEW's audience. Yet Statlander has been unable to win a championship in AEW despite obviously being a more skilled wrestler and more popular than most of the women's division. In Sasha Banks, Statlander would find an opponent who can match her move-for-move and Banks is also fantastic at selling and making her opponents look great. Facing Kris Statlander in a dream match would do wonders for both women if Sasha Banks does indeed leave WWE and jump to AEW.
