Samuel L. Jackson has praised Emilia Clarke's performance in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe series Secret Invasion. While much is known about many of the MCU's upcoming films and television series, many details surrounding Secret Invasion remain a mystery. All that's been revealed story-wise is that the plot revolves around Nick Fury (Jackson) and Talos (Ben Mendelsohn) attempting to stop the Skrulls, who have infiltrated the highest spheres of the Marvel universe. Aside from Jackson and Mendelsohn, casting announcements for Secret Invasion include both Clarke and Olivia Coleman, though it has not been revealed who either will be portraying in the series.

Recently, Jackson discussed his experience working with his co-stars on Secret Invasion. While Jackson did not reveal who she would be playing in the show, he has described Clarke's performance as "amazing." This is certainly high praise from an actor as distinguished as Jackson. He has also gone on to comment that he was taken aback by how small Clarke is in real life, as he knows her as the Mother of Dragons from Game of Thrones. See Jackson's full quote below:

"Emilia, amazing. It’s like, c’mon man, you walk on the set and you go, 'Okay, that’s the Queen of Dragons.' She's so tiny. She's like a fairy, you want to hold her!"

Jackson did not reveal any information not already known about Secret Invasion, so there are not many clues for fans to go on. The actor has also noted that he had an excellent experience working alongside Coleman as well, so at the very least, MCU fans can be sure that they are in for some good chemistry. Unfortunately, it may be a while before audiences get to see it. While the release date for Secret Invasion was originally expected to be in 2022, it is now expected to be arriving in 2023.
