Samuel L. Jackson teases his return as Nick Fury in Avengers 4 with a collection of set photos. Directors Joe and Anthony Russo, as well as the film's cast and crew, are supposedly back at work for mandatory reshoots and pick-up shots for MCU's Phase 3 finale. Additional photography is set to last the entire summer and it looks like Jackson is one of the first actors to return on set.

It's been a while since Fury played a part in what's currently happening in the MCU. Prior to his short but meaningful Avengers: Infinity War appearance, the last time people saw him was in Avengers: Age of Ultron three years ago as he tried to motivate the team in the midst of their battle with Ultron. However, when he emerged again, alongside Maria Hill, in Avengers 3, there wasn't really any time to learn what he's been up to the last few years as he was among the unfortunate half who died after Thanos' snap - but not before he was able to send an SOS message to a still MIA Captain Marvel. Now it, seems like it won't take long to reunite with the former S.H.I.E.L.D. officer as Jackson commemorates his return as the fan-favorite character in brand new social media posts.

Taking it to his official Instagram account, Jackson has posted several new photos teasing his return as Nick Fury. The upload includes Fury's facial hair, his infamous eye-patch and a glimpse of his scratched right eye. However, arguably, the most interesting from his gallery is a S.H.I.E.L.D. business card of the character given that the organization is supposedly abolished already, except for the underground operation of some remaining loyal agents as seen in ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The card even has a listed address. Check out the images below:

Of course, it's possible that it's nothing more than a fun prop, something that isn't really going to factor in Avengers 4's story. After all, the card also indicates Fury's position in the organization as "Bad Motherf***er" - a meta-joke and a nod to Jackson's iconic phrase. Otherwise, it could also be an old calling card from a time where S.H.I.E.L.D. still had a permanent base as seen at the start of 2012's The Avengers. Considering that next year's movie will see Earth's Mightiest Heroes revisit the Battle of New York, this might be the case as well.

It's also worth noting that Jackson's Nick Fury return may be for Spider-Man: Far From Home considering that the tagged location in his post (Watford, United Kingdom), is less than an hour away from where the sequel was filming earlier this month (Bishop's Stortford, England). While Fury and Parker haven't formally met in the MCU, it won't be a surprise if the former S.H.I.E.L.D. director has been keeping tabs on all the new heroes popping out, and since Parker has had a close relationship with Tony Stark, it makes sense that Fury knows about him being Spider-Man.
