Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Tab S8 series has been revealed in a considerable leak. In about a week, Samsung is conducting the Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event. While the South Korean company has not released the devices that it will launch at the event, it is accepting reservations for the 'next Galaxy smartphone' and the 'next Galaxy tablet' on its website. Those who reserve the upcoming Galaxy devices will receive a $50 credit which can be used to purchase accessories in the future.

Currently, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 series is available across the globe. The vanilla Tab S7 is available at Best Buy for $649.99. In a tweet, Roland Quandt has shared what looks like the complete specification sheets of all three models in the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 lineup. For reference, there are three tablets in the upcoming lineup by Samsung — Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8 Plus and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. Among these three, there seem to be a few similarities. All the upcoming tablets are leaked to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and run on One UI 4.1, based on Android 12. Alongside, a 120Hz refresh rate display and dual-rear facing cameras (13MP + 6MP) are common among the tablets. For connectivity, the tablets feature Bluetooth v5.2, USB Type-C 3.2, Wi-Fi 6E, and Wi-fi Direct technology.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Models Differ In Screen Size And Better Capacity

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 may come in only two colors

As mentioned in the spec sheets, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has an 11-inch TFT display with 276 pixels per inch. Alongside, the device carries an 8,000 mAh battery and comes in two finishes: dark grey and silver. Moving up the price ladder, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Plus is equipped with a 12.4-inch Super AMOLED display and a 10,090 mAh battery. Finally, the largest tablet of the series, Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, features a 14.6-inch Super AMOLED display and an 11,200 mAh battery. Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra also has a dual front-facing camera (12MP + 12MP), for which it is also reported to have a notch.

Another differentiating factor among the tablets seems to be the S-Pen that comes along with these tablets. With the Galaxy Tab S8, the S-Pen has a 6.2 ms latency. Whereas, for both the Galaxy Tab S8 Plus and Tab S8 Ultra, the S-Pen has a 2.8 ms latency. Apart from this, the devices feature a quad-speaker setup, Samsung's applications, and Knox security version 3.8. It is important to note that the leaked spec sheets mention carries references to Wi-Fi models of the tablets only. Nevertheless, Samsung is expected to reveal the Galaxy Tab S8 lineup alongside the Galaxy S22 series during the Unpacked event on Feb. 9, 2022.
