Just a few months after the Galaxy Z Flip 3 hit the scene, Samsung's refreshing the phone with a new 'Bespoke Edition' — allowing folks to customize it like never before. Samsung's big marketing push for the Z Flip 3 is that it's the first folding phone for everyone. In a lot of ways, it really is. The Z Flip 3 is a ton of fun to use, offers unique functionality not found on traditional smartphones, and it's no more expensive than the latest Galaxy S or iPhone.

To really help the Z Flip 3's design be the center of attention, Samsung paired the phone with a handful of excellent color options. Since launch, the phone's been available in Cream, Green, Lavender, and Phantom Black. All of these look fantastic for their own reasons. Cream is warm and easy on the eyes, Green offers a dark green hue that's more interesting than basic black, Lavender is just flat-out gorgeous, and Phantom Black is the perfect stealthy option.

Just in time for the big holiday shopping season, Samsung's cranking things up to 11 with the new Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition. This version of the Z Flip 3 has all of the same specs and features as the regular Z Flip 3. Rather than just choosing one color and calling it a day, however, the Bespoke Edition allows shoppers to fully customize how the phone looks. Users get to choose the front, bottom, and frame colors, resulting in 49 possible combinations to mix and match. Commenting on the announcement, Samsung's SVP and Head of Marketing for Mobile Communications said, "Today’s customers are multi-faceted, and we believe their technology should reflect their unique lifestyles. Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition opens new experiences for customers to reflect who they are, through the technology they use the most."

All The Available Styles For Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition

To start creating your own Bespoke Z Flip 3, head to the 'Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Studio' on Samsung's website. Samsung has a few pre-made styles to choose from, or visitors can click the black Start button to customize one for themselves. There are five colors available for the front and back sections (Blue, Pink, Yellow, White, and Black), along with Black and Silver options for the frame. It might not seem like a lot at first, but it quickly opens up many possibilities. You can choose the same color for both the front and back, pick different ones for each section, and pair that with one of the two frame colors. Every combination won't be for everyone, but having granular control over a phone's design like this isn't something we've seen since the glory days of the Moto X.

What's even cooler is how Samsung supports the post-purchase experience. Starting in November, anyone who buys a Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition can optionally purchase the Bespoke Upgrade Care service. For a yet-to-be-announced service fee, anyone with Bespoke Upgrade Care will be able to "change their device color whenever they want to." No matter if someone wants to change one color, two colors, or all three, Bespoke Upgrade Care will enable them to do just that.

For folks who are interested, Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition is available for purchase as of today. It costs $1099 regardless of which colors someone chooses, and it also comes with 12 months Samsung Care+. That's $100 more than the regular Z Flip 3, but considering 12 months of Samsung Care+ normally retails for over $155, the Bespoke Edition is actually a pretty good deal.
