The Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, one of two smartwatches Samsung is expected to launch this summer, has now been completely revealed in a series of leaked renders. Assuming these renders are accurate, the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic will be a sleek, sophisticated, and slightly toned-down version of last year's Galaxy Watch 3.

2021 is shaping up to be one of the biggest years yet for Samsung's smartwatch lineup.  In addition to new hardware, the company is also working with Google to develop a brand-new operating system that combines the best bits of Wear OS and Tizen. It's this platform that Samsung's 2021 smartwatches will be powered by, hopefully allowing future releases from Samsung, Google, Fitbit, and others to better compete with the Apple Watch.

The Galaxy Watch 4 Classic will be one of the first gadgets to feature this OS, and at least from a hardware perspective, it looks absolutely stunning. According to a report from Android Headlines, the Watch 4 Classic will be available in three sizes (42mm, 44mm, and 46mm), come in three colors (black, white, and silver), and be offered in both aluminum and stainless steel finishes. The case has numbers added around the display, there are two large buttons on the right side, and there appears to be a slight pattern etched into the bezel surrounding the screen — all giving the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic a very 'classy' look. The watch should also be quite durable, with Android Headlines saying it'll have 5ATM water resistance and a MIL-STD-810G durability rating.

How Galaxy Watch 4 Classic Compares To Galaxy Watch 4 Active

Galaxy Watch 4 Classic leaked render

If the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic's design is a bit too much for some people's taste, the good news is that it isn't the only smartwatch Samsung's releasing this year. Earlier this month, leaked renders of the Galaxy Watch 4 Active were shared. The Active variant has a much more minimalistic aesthetic, featuring smaller buttons, no fancy display bezel, and is available in more colors. While the specs and features are expected to be the same across the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic and Active, Samsung is designing two distinctly different styles to cater to as wide of an audience as possible.

Regardless of which model someone is interested in, it shouldn't be too much longer before Samsung takes the wraps off the Galaxy Watch 4 series. The Watch 4 Classic and Watch 4 Active will both be announced at a Samsung Unpacked event this summer, likely in late July or sometime in August. From device specifications, pricing, etc., expect all to be revealed then.
