She’s famous for voicing Sam from Danny Phantom, but which other movies and TV shows has Grey Griffin appeared in? The name Grey Griffin probably isn’t one that most viewers instantly recognize but considering she’s one of the most prolific voice actors currently working, it’s likely most people have heard her bringing at least a couple of animated characters to life. Nickelodeon fans of a certain vintage will know Griffin best for playing Sam from Danny Phantom – the best friend of the show’s title character – but that role is just one of several hundred voice acting credits she has under her belt.

Grey Griffin began her voice acting career back in the 1990s and some of her earliest work came voicing various characters in the Nickelodeon cartoon Rugrats or Cartoon Network's Johnny Bravo. In the early 2000s, she voiced Emily Elizabeth in Clifford The Big Red Dog and a variety of roles in Nickelodeon’s long-running animated series The Fairly OddParents, including protagonist Timmy Turner’s evil babysitter Vicky. Her other notable Nickelodeon work includes Princess Azula in Avatar: The Last Airbender and Ming-Hua in its sequel series The Legend Of Korra.

One of Grey Griffin’s longest-running jobs has been voicing Daphne Blake in the vast majority of Scooby-Doo animated movies and shows produced since the early 2000s. Griffin has also voiced a multitude of female superheroes in animated movies, cartoons and video games from both DC and Marvel. She’s played Wonder Woman many times in several LEGO DC movies and shows including Teen Titans Go! and DC Super Hero Girls and was the voice behind Catwoman in several of the Batman: Arkham video games. Marvel-wise, Griffin has voiced Captain Marvel in the Disney XD shows Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble alongside characters like Black Widow, the Wasp and Psylocke.

Fans of the live-action Transformers movie series might recognize Griffin from voicing Autobot Arcee in Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen and Bumblebee, and it’s likely she will reprise the role in the upcoming entry Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts too. For the past few seasons of The Simpsons, she’s also been the voice behind twins Sherri and Terri and teacher’s pet Martin Prince after original voice actress Russi Taylor passed away.

Grey Griffin can currently be heard lending her talents to Nickelodeon’s award-winning The Loud House in which she voices twins Lana and Lola Loud and old lady Scoots. She also recently joined the voice cast of Amazon and Robert Kirkham’s adult animated superhero show Invincible as recurring characters Shrinking Rae and Monster Girl. Next up she’ll play Dr. Elizabeth Veronica Darling in the upcoming Netflix series Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix – an animated adaptation of Ubisoft’s Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon video game which Griffin also lent her voice to.
