The Gemini sign can often be found cozied up somewhere with a good book. Geminis love to read and exchange ideas and are very good at hearing new things, learning, and gaining different ideas and perspectives. This sign is very curious and very adaptable, which also makes them very easy to entertain.

Geminis also love affection, so if they aren't reading something educational, it's most likely a romantic novel of some sort. For the Gemini looking to put their current book down and turn on a good movie that will make them cry, here are a couple of titles to check out and a few Geminis should definitely avoid.

Cry: Romeo And Juliet

This classic story is one that most Geminis will know well, but Bad Luhrmann's adaptation of the tale of two star crossed lovers, will still bring a tear to any Gemini's eye, even though they know how this tragic story ends.

The film stars a young Leonardo DiCaprio and a young Claire Danes as the titles characters and their chemistry really brings this story to life in a new light that makes it even more devastating to watch than the other film and stage versions that came before it.

Not: Toy Story 3

Like most signs in the zodiac, a Gemini loves Disney and Pixar films, but can recognize these films as standard entertainment and won't get too emotionally involved in any of them.

One of the films deemed Pixar's saddest is the third film in the Toy Story franchise, Toy Story 3. Upon this film's release, audiences were buzzing about "that one scene" at the very end that seemed to make everyone cry. Chances are Geminis were the biggest exception when it came to that reaction.

Cry: One Day

Because Geminis love books and love stories, they probably read the novel this film is based on well before the film was ever released. It's also very likely that they cried while reading the book. Even though they know the story and how it ends, this romantic film starring Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess, will still leave most Geminis sobbing by the end of it.

It's a beautiful story of young love and tragic loss and Hathaway and Sturgess are wonderful together in it.

Not: Steel Magnolias

This is another movie that most Geminis probably appreciate and understand that it is a classic in film history, but it's not a movie they're going to turn on if they need a good cry because it may feel a little outdated to most Geminis and is one they would like to solely appreciate for its contributions to film history.

The film stars a stellar female cast and tells the story of Southern women growing with and supporting one another through all the ups and downs life has to offer.

Cry: Finding Neverland

This film, based on a play and also based on the classic story of Peter Pan, is one that Geminis are going to want to watch with a box of Kleenex.

This clever historical fantasy film tells the story of J.M. Barrie, the man who created Peter Pan and the family who inspired him to write the classic fairytale. Geminis will not only be hooked by the storyline but the execution of this film is nothing short of magical, making it even more emotional for viewers to watch.

Not: Dead Poets Society

This film is probably pretty high up on a lot of Geminis' "favorite movies of all time" list. There's a good chance that most Geminis have seen this movie at least a hundred times and still love it, but after seeing something so much, it's unlikely to provoke much emotion at this point.

The story is of a group of friends at an all boys boarding school, whose lives are changed forever by their charismatic poetry teacher, Mr. Keating, played by the late Robin Williams.

Cry: Call Me By Your Name

This is another film, based on a novel, that most Geminis probably read before the movie was released. Despite knowing the story, Geminis watching the film adaptation will make plenty of new discoveries and feel even more connected to the main characters because the acting in this film is so incredible and grounded.

This film received four nominations for Academy Awards the year it was released and is one that will be high on most Gemini's "favorite movies of all time" list after they see it for the first time.

Not: Terms Of Endearment

For most Geminis, Terms of Endearment, starring Shirley MacLaine and Debra Winger as a mother and daughter who love each other as much as they love to fight with one another, is another movie that Geminis can appreciate, but won't find very relatable or emotional.

When this film was first released, it was deemed a "tear-jerker" by most audiences, and at the time, Geminis would agree, but almost forty years later, it's safe to say this one doesn't have quite the same effect as it did when it first came out.

Cry: Moulin Rouge

Moulin Rouge!

Because people born under the Gemini sign love a good love story so much and get so invested in characters as they fall in love, this musical movie starring Nicole Kidman and Ewen McGregor, will not only be one they love to watch, but also one they love to cry to.

Like most film's epic love stories, this one comes to a tragic end that will leave the Gemini sign sobbing by the time the end credits start to roll.

Not: Big Fish

This fantasy drama feature film also stars Ewen McGregor, but Geminis will be so enamored with the cinematography and fairytale-like storytelling, they'll probably be too distracted to get emotionally invested in any one individual character.

This Tim Burton tale was nominated for a slew of awards upon its release and it will be easy for any Gemini to see why as they're watching it.
