The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has given the titular witch another antagonist, as Tati Gabrielle has joined the Netflix series as the leader of the Weird Sisters. With Netflix taking over the upcoming adaptation of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina from The CW, the series will decidely be disconnected from Riverdale. But the new network has somewhat helped production ramp up on the first of two seasons of the Sabrina series that Netflix ordered.

In the past few months alone, a number of talent have joined the cast of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, which will be anchored by Mad Men's Kiernan Shipka as the lead character. Since her arrival, actors for both Aunt Hilda and Aunt Zelda have joined the show, bringing genre experience from Wonder Woman and The Lord of the Rings, respectively. The most recent casting also brought Sabrina's boyfriend Harvey Kinkle to the series. And it's a good thing the witch will have so many friendly faces, as more and more villains keep joining the show as well.

Deadline reports that Tati Gabrielle has joined The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina as Prudence, the leader of the Weird Sisters and a student at the Academy of Unseen Arts. The group will be rivals to Sabrina, taking their name from the three witches in Macbeth. Gabrielle is familiar with the genre thanks to role on The 100, and her connection to The CW show might've helped bring her to the attention of the show's creatives.

Not much is known about Prudence or the Weird Sisters at this point, but they'll hardly be the only characters Sabrina has to contend with. Last month, Richard Coyle was cast as Father Blackwood, yet another rival magic user who will test and torment Sabrina. As good witches, she and her aunts spend a lot of their time combating the forces of darkness, which will likely make living a normal teenage life that much more difficult.

On top of Prudence and Father Blackwood, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina cast Bronson Pinchot as Sabrina's evil principal. So it seems from both school and her life in the world of magic, the protagonist will have plenty to struggle with to keep the show interesting. Though no longer tied to The CW or Riverdale, it's no surprise to learn that the series will employ a similar balance between genre elements and teen drama. Luckily, Netflix has ensured that much of the casting so far has been impeccable.
