Ryan Reynolds offers a perfect response to a fan's claim on social media of seeing his doppelgänger while traveling on a bus. The 44-year-old actor first rose to stardom with his role in the ABC sitcom Two Guys and a Girl alongside Richard Ruccolo and Traylor Howard before finding bigger roles in the film world in the early 2000s with National Lampoon's Van Wilder and Blade: Trinity. Though the latter would prove to be a disappointing first comic book outing for the star, it wouldn't be his last.

After receiving rave reviews in several hit-or-miss films, including the cult-favorite restaurant comedy Waiting... and romantic dramedy Definitely, Maybe, Reynolds would get another shot at the comic book world with X-Men Origins: Wolverine as Wade Wilson. Following that film's disappointment, Reynolds hoped the third time would be the charm with Warner Bros.' Green Lantern, which proved to be even worse received by critics and audiences than the failed introduction of the Merc with a Mouth in Fox's X-Men franchise. Reynolds finally got the chance to return to the character of Deadpool for a solo film and revitalized both the character and his filmography, establishing him as a force to be reckoned with behind the camera just as much as in front of.

Twitter user atsuki took to the platform to ask Reynolds whether he had "a secret twin or something," as she witnessed someone who looked identical to the Deadpool star. True to his nature, Reynolds responded with an image from a GQ interview in which he was interviewed by his "a-hole" twin brother Gordon. Check out the hilarious response below:

Reynolds opens responds to his fans on social media. Much like James Gunn, Simu Liu, and Zack Snyder, Reynolds understands the love his fans have for him and is willing to reciprocate while staying true to his public persona of being quick with a joke. His response of calling back to the GQ sketches released during both Deadpool marketing waves is a fun treat for his followers.

If there's anything one can take away from Ryan Reynolds' response aside from his love of fan interaction is the notion that it's criminal he hasn't made an actual movie in which he stars alongside himself. Projects about identical twins may not always hit the mark, but they do offer their stars the opportunity to show some range and have fun with themself, both of which Reynolds has proven time and again he's capable. It's time for him and the folks of Hollywood to have a serious talk about the subject.
