In the third episode of RuPaul's Drag Race Season 13 the queens who lost the lip-syncs the first week get their moment to shine. This episode is full of sickening lewks and some genuinely hilarious drama.

The girls from last week have named themselves the winner's circle and Olivia Lux says "there's only one other name for the other group". As it turns out the other queens are not called the Loser's Circle. They are more aptly named The Porkchop group. This crop of queens is polished and pissed off. The perfect combination for a Reality TV competition show.

The mini-challenge this week is a runway called Lady and the Vamp. The dolls are asked to show off two different lewks. Denali walks out in a super fun blue dress with a gorgeous yellow wig, but the silhouette is a little odd and the garment seems to be ill-fitting. Joey Jay walks out looking like a man. She has no wig on and while that can absolutely work for drag and there is no right way to express gender, it very simply... does not work for Joey. Rosé is stunning in her fierce paper doll outfit. Tamisha Iman says she is giving Joan Crawford realness. Utica has a very fun gumball lewk. We've seen similar things on this runway, but it's put together beautifully. Kahmora Hall makes it to the runway after taking a long time to do her make-up and underwhelms in a Kate Middleton lewk.

Denali looks sickening in her second lewk. It is Helena Bonham Cartier if you will. Joey Jay is not wearing a wig again, but the padding is great this time. Rosé comes out in a spectacular Alexander McQueen-inspired lewk. It's like nothing we have ever seen on Drag Race which is hard to say after 13 seasons. Kahmora Hall's second lewk is an unbelievable dress but the wig is horrific. That wig somehow looks wet and dry at the same time.

At the make-up mirror, Tamisha Iman tells the dolls that she has three biological children and she is 49 years old. This queen continues to be the most interesting person on this season. The queens have to create choreography and they are fighting more than usual. Rosé, Joey Jay, and Denali all seem to think they are in charge. Then Mother Tamisha steps in and gets the children settled. She is bringing grace, maturity, and truly funny quips to the confessionals. Tamisha Iman must have been told to go to her room a lot because she is SO GROUNDED! This season needs Tamisha.

In the mainstage challenge, the queens dance and do their individual verses of a RuPaul song. Rosé sings the house down and she certainly has great stage presence, but something about this queen gives the vibe that she might snap at any moment. Utica brings such unique and whacky energy to her number that she basically steals the show.

On the runway, Denali's first lewk is very solid. Kahmora Hall serves a Bob Mackie lewk but again she is too focused on looking expensive and not enough on doing fun drag. Tamisha looks so gorgeous in a gold pageant gown. Utica is wearing some very unfortunate colors. It's bad Thorgy Thor.

The judges really go in on Khamora Hall in the critiques and she takes it in stride. They basically say she has no personality and she quips back hilariously. It is nice to watch a queen step up to the plate rather than crumble.  Denali and Rosé are the top two queens of the week. No one is sent home and Denali wins the lip-sync. She is certainly proving to be a threat in this competition.
