RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 5 winner Shea Coulee announced the "Royal Edition" of their successful Shea Coul-Ale line of beers. The original Shea Coul-Ale drink was released in 2019 in a limited fashion. Now, Shea revealed on Instagram that the new collaboration with Goose Island Beer Company is launching in 2021. The new beer will be dubbed Shea Coul-Ale: The Royal Edition.

Shea Coulee first appeared on RuPaul’s Drag Race season 9, making it all the way to the finale. The Chicago queen won four challenges, but they ultimately lost the crown to Sasha Velour during the series’ first-ever Lip Sync For The Crown. Years later, Shea returned to the drag competition for RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 5. Shea proved themselves victorious, beating out fan-favorite queens like Jujubee and Miz Cracker. The latest inductee to the Drag Race Hall of Fame is now expanding their line of beers.

Shea Coulee took to social media to announce this brand-new line of beer with their followers. The All Stars 5 winner wrote on Instagram: “After the success of last year’s beer, I partnered again with [Do312] and [Goose Island] to bring a little pizazz to your summer BBQ.” The beer is 4.2% ABV and has a citrusy tropical taste, according to the star. Shea claimed that their beer is packed with pineapple flavor and a hint of orange zest. The drag queen also revealed that the beer isn’t only for summer fun, as Shea Coul-Ale will also benefit a worthy cause.

Specifically, Shea Coulee announced that two dollars from every purchase Shea Coul-Ale will be donated to Brave Space Alliance. Brave Space Alliance is an LGBTQIA+ center that focuses primarily on the Black trans community in the South Side of Chicago. The star advocated that the organization does amazing work to support marginalized people in the community. As such, this is one of Shea’s favorite organizations for queer people of color.

RuPaul’s Drag Race season 13 recently finished. It came down to a fierce finale that included queens Gottmik, Kandy Muse, Rosé, and Symone battling out in the now-traditional Lip Sync For The Crown. Symone proved victorious, earning her spot amidst an array of recent winners of color that includes Shea Coulee. Now, the franchise has also announced the cast of its highly-anticipated RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 6. With the news that Shea Coulee is now expanding their beer empire, the fans can watch the new season while sipping on some beer from the current-reigning Drag Race Hall of Famer.
