It has now become a yearly tradition that immediately before a new RuPaul’s Drag Race season begins, an All-Stars season comes along, filled with past competitors that stood out in the franchise and deserve a second shot at snatching the crown. Over the years, All-Stars has become all about second chances and redemptions, with returning queens not only having a higher budget for fashion, but also a better sense of who they are as entertainers.

As we move away from the year of All-Stars 4 and Drag Race season 11, it is time to look ahead and investigate which queens are rumored to be featured on the fifth season of this successful spin-off series. We already know that the show is filming this summer, meaning that the disappearance of certain queens during the months of June and July – through the cancelation of shows and an overall absence from social media – is certainly telling. These are the 10 RuPaul’s Drag Race Queens Rumored To Be On All-Stars 5.

MIZ CRACKER

Miz Cracker has been steadily touring around the world since first appearing on season 10 of RuPaul’s Drag Race. However, in May of 2019, she posted a video apologizing to fans about postponing certain shows in Australia and New Zealand that would have taken place in June – which is the exact period of time that All-Stars 5 will be filming.

Needless to say, not a single Drag Race fan bought into the storyline that Miz Cracker’s sudden postponing of these shows was actually due to an “unforeseeable scheduling conflict that just could not have been prevented,” as she justified in the shared video. Instead, it sounds like someone got a call to be on All-Stars, but is contractually obligated to withhold that information until the official announcement is made. We’re ready for (more) dinner!

SHEA COULEE

RuPaul’s Drag Race season 9 finalist Shea Coulee has never shied away from expressing that she would certainly be back for a season of All-Stars. As a matter of fact, when she was directly asked by an Instagram fan about whether she would go on All-Stars 5, the queen replied saying, “I’d be crazy to say ‘no.’”

Because Shea Coulee was such a frontrunner during her original Drag Race season, this queen would certainly enter All-Stars 5 with the potential to win it. Moreover, let’s not forget that her season 9 sister – and also finalist – Trinity The Tuck was just crowned one of the winners of All-Stars 4 alongside Monet X Change. Is the world ready for Shea to snatch some more edges on TV?

SCARLET ENVY

The world wants her, and we hope that the feeling is mutual! Rumors are that Scarlet Envy will be the only Drag Race season 11 queen to join the All-Stars 5 cast, meaning that she would be filming her appearance on the spin-off series right after her original season is concluded on television.

While there was some mild backlash to season 10 queens Monet X Change and Monique Heart joining All-Stars 4 “so soon” following their first appearance on the franchise, it is safe to say that Monet’s crowning as the winner certainly put those questions to rest. When Scarlet Envy was asked about whether she would do All-Stars 5 during an interview, the queen replied, “of course! I will bring more makeup this time.” Fingers crossed!

ASIA O’HARA

After her “butterfly reveal fail” on the season 10 finale of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Asia O’Hara did not seem too invested in the franchise as a whole. When asked by Billboard Magazine about whether she would return for an All-Stars season, Asia expressed that she was “uncertain” about that possibility, but teased that her answer might change over time.

Well, rumor has it that Asia O’Hara has been asked to join the All-Stars 5 cast to compete for a place in the Drag Race Hall of Fame. Is RuPaul ready to ‘crown up’ this queen?

KAMERON MICHAELS

The shy and beloved Kameron Michaels earned her right as the ‘lip-sync assassin’ of season 10, surviving three placements in the Bottom Two and making all the way to the grand finale. Often remembered for her beauty in and out of drag, Kameron was quick to say that she was in no rush to come back to the franchise so quickly, but that she would certainly want to do a season of All-Stars in the future.

Given that it has been a full year since Drag Race season 10 aired, many fans have begun to speculate that the queen is going to be featured on All-Stars 5. While it certainly seems like the show is already crowded with season 10 contestants, we are definitely excited about the possibility of seeing Kameron lip-synching for her legacy.

DARIENNE LAKE

Season 6 of RuPaul’s Drag Race had some of the strongest and most competitive contestants in the history of the franchise. Just look at the season’s Final Three: Bianca Del Rio, Adore Delano, and Courtney Act. It is hard to argue that losing to any of those three queens is actually a loss at all. And that is precisely why Darienne Lake, who placed fourth on season 6, is a force to be reckoned with.

Rumor has it that Darienne Lake is bringing her charm and glamour to All-Stars 5. Given that this is the queen who sent BenDeLaCreme – the star of All-Stars 3 – home on their original season, we cannot wait to see her shine on the Drag Race franchise once again.

DERRICK BARRY

Derrick Barry was already famous for being a Britney Spears impersonator in Las Vegas, well before being cast on season 8 of RuPaul’s Drag Race. As a matter of fact, the queen had already even competed on the third season of America’s Got Talent, making it all the way to the quarterfinals. However, there is no doubt that the Drag Race franchise propelled Derrick’s career to new heights, allowing her to become more of an entertainer in her own right.

When it comes to the rumors that Derrick Barry will return to compete on this franchise, leave it to the queen to make things clear. During an interview in April of 2019 – which is likely the period of time when the All-Stars 5 cast was being assembled – Derrick mentioned that she was brought back for brief appearances on seasons 10 and 11, but that she had not been cast on All-Stars 4. Then, the queen added: “I would never turn All-Stars down, that’s for sure.” Las Vegas is already placing bets on Derrick Barry’s return!

BLAIR ST. CLAIR

Blair St. Clair RuPaul Drag Race

In many ways, Blair St. Clair’s run on season 10 of RuPaul’s Drag Race felt too short. What’s more, there was a heavy focus on the queen’s very youthful looks when out of drag, as well as her struggles with assault, alcoholism, and anorexia. There is no doubt that Blair, the drag queen, deserves another shot in the franchise to really show off her skills as an entertainer.

While this queen has certainly danced around the matter, Blair St. Clair has cleared stated that she is ready to compete in an All-Stars season, saying that she “would feel confident going into it.” On the other hand, Blair has cited that she worries about how expensive it has become to compete on All-Stars, as most of the contestants have big budgets for clothes and props.

ONGINA

Ongina is, by far, the RuPaul’s Drag Race contestant with the most fan support to return to the franchise. The series’ first-ever bald queen competed on the very first Drag Race season and made quite the social statement after revealing her HIV status while on the runway. While Ongina’s courage to be truthful was originally misunderstood by certain fans, the queen actually set the tone for what this entire franchise would later become. It is now a staple in the Drag Race franchise for queens to share personal stories that will connect with the series’ LGBTQ audience.

It may have taken five seasons, but it seems like Ongina is finally going to get her shot at competing on All-Stars. We cannot wait to see the looks this bald queen might turn on the runway!

MAYHEM MILLER

The legendary Mayhem Miller is the fifth RuPaul’s Drag Race season 10 queen to be rumored for All-Stars 5, which is now looking like the largest reunion of contestants from the same season since All-Stars 2, which had five queens from season 5. Mayhem, who is closely related to past contestants such as Morgan McMichaels, Raven, and Detox – all of which have also returned for a season of All-Stars became quite a meme after leaving the show.

What’s more, Mayhem Miller is incredibly popular and well-regarded in the California drag scene as a whole, making her perfect to compete among legends on All Stars 5. After performing so well on the RuPaul’s Drag Race Holi-Slay Spectacular that aired in 2018, there is little doubt that we’re in for some more Mayhem very soon.
