Jan is clapping back at the fans who are saying that she should have skipped RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 6 in order to come back for All Stars 7 instead. At this point, the fans and the queens already know the drill: every year, Mama Ru will put out a regular season of Drag Race as well as an All Stars edition. This means that up-and-coming queens can apply every year for a chance to go onto Drag Race, and alumni from older seasons can wait for the call to be invited for All Stars.

For some queens, getting an invitation to RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars felt like a given. For instance, it was pretty obvious that queens like Alyssa Edwards, Latrice Royale, Trixie Mattel, Alaska, Valentina, Shea Coulee, Shangela, Adore Delano, Katya, Chad Michaels, Alexis Mateo, Manila Luzon, and Detox would get invited to All Stars at some point. For some of them, it was only a matter of preparing themselves to compete again. Some queens have even gotten multiple invitations for more than one All Stars season, such as Latrice, Manila, and Alexis.

With that said, for most RuPaul's Drag Race contestants, it isn't necessarily a given that they would get invited back for All Stars. Since the Drag Race All Stars 6 cast was announced, some fans complained to Jan that she should have waited another year before coming back to compete on the show. These fans argue that she would've been much better prepared for All Stars 7 given that she was theoretically not able to make too much money in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic to prepare for All Stars 6. However, Jan is clapping back at these fans.

As Jan pointed out in the tweets above, most Drag Race queens don't have a "guaranteed" spot on a season of All Stars, and one year can make a world of difference when it comes to pop culture momentum and awareness. In addition, it is bizarre that these fans are literally sending Jan a bunch of DMs complaining that she was already cast on All Stars 6 and already filmed the entire season, as if there was a way for her to change her mind retroactively after hearing their "feedback." In any case, as pointed out by Jan in the second tweet, she felt more than ready to go on All Stars 6, so there are plenty of reasons for her fans to get excited about it.

We are closer than ever to the highly-anticipated Drag Race All Stars 6. The cast is looking very interesting and diverse in personalities and styles of drag, so it's hard to know what to expect from this cycle of the show.
