Warning! SPOILERS for Canada's Drag Race season 2 episode 2 below!

This week, Canada's Drag Race season 2 episode 2 challenged its queens to perform live in a clown-themed Rusical inspired by the 1938 film Under The Big Top. The competition got real last week when Beth became the first eliminated queen on Canada's Drag Race season 2 after lip syncing against Gia Metric. The queens were sad to see Beth go, but many felt that the right choice was made between the queens in the bottom two.

After recovering from the design challenge featured in the premiere episode, the contestants were told that this week's maxi challenge would be a live Rusical all about clowns. The queens loved the theme, but many were concerned about this performance requiring live singing. Whereas Synthia Kiss, Gia Metric, and Eve 6000 felt pretty confident about their singing abilities, there were also queens like Océane Aqua-Black, Kimora Amour, and Kendall Gender feeling nervous about singing live on the main stage of Canada's Drag Race.

Ahead of the Rusical, these Canadian queens had to distribute the roles between themselves, get vocal lessons, and practice very complex choreography. Synthia Kiss chose to play the ingenue named Corsette, whereas Kendall Gender chose to be the Ring Mistress. Suki Doll (Bing), Adriana (Bang), and Océane Aqua-Black (Bong) were assigned the comedic relief trio in the Rusical. Meanwhile, Stephanie Prince (Leather) and Icesis Couture (Lace) chose the most dance-heavy roles for themselves. Eve 6000 chose to do Revealiana, Pythia got to play the scary Hennywise, and Kimora Amour landed on a character that paid direct homage to Bianca Del Rio. Closing out the show was Gia Metric playing the character of Himbo.

This Rusical had very clear winners and very clear losers, so the judges didn't take long to dismiss the safe queens of the week: Adriana, Kimora Amour, Stephanie Prince, and Synthia Kiss. The top three consisted of Gia Metric, Kendall Gender, and Pythia. The judges praised Gia for absolutely slaying this Rusical. Meanwhile, they noted that Kendall may not be the best singer, but she did her best to still sell her performance. When it came to Pythia, they not only loved her Rusical performance but were also obsessed with her runway look. Indeed, Pythia's two-headed runway was probably one of the most iconic looks in Canada's Drag Race history.

As a result, the bottom four queens were Eve 6000, Icesis Couture, Océane Aqua-Black, and Suki Doll. Following the judges' final critiques, Océane and Icesis were asked to lip sync for their lives to "Stupid Sh*t" by Girlicious. Ultimately, Océane became the second queen to get eliminated from Canada's Drag Race season 2.
