Whether it was from a comedy roasting, an acting challenge, a heated argument, or a snappy catchphrase, Drag Race is full of memorable quotes that continue to entertain and be recited by fans everywhere. For some queens, it is these quotes that have cemented their status as popular contestants.

"Look Over There!" - Jaida Essence Hall

Jaida Essence Hall was the winner of season 12 by delivering flawless looks, acting, lip-synching, and tongue-in-cheek humor. Her sudden exclamation of "Look over there!" was used in her winning performance in the drag president campaign maxi challenge. It was the perfect satirical nod to shifty politicians and presidential candidates. The line was celebrated by the main judges, delighted guest judges Jeff Goldblum and Rachel Bloom, and has become a recent classic Drag Race quote.

"Because I Am What? Sickening!" - Shangela

Underdog Shangela won the hearts of fans when she returned to the show for season 3 after being eliminated early in the previous season. Whilst her catchphrase "Hallelloo!" lives rent-free in most fans' heads regardless, it is her outburst in Untucked that will never be forgotten.

When Mimi Imfurst berated her for having a sugar daddy, Shangela defended herself with an unforgettable rant, ending on a line of assured self-confidence: "If I wanted a sugar daddy, yes, I probably could go out and get one because I am what? Sickening!" Whilst the entire rant is memorable, it is the final affirmation that stands out the most.

"Get Those Nuts Away From My Face!" - Latrice Royale

Beloved queen Latrice Royale first appeared on Drag Race in season 4, where she placed fourth and earned the title of Miss Congeniality, and later appeared in two seasons of Drag Race All Stars. She boasts a range of unforgettable lines, including "The shade of it all!", that have endeared her to generations of Drag Race fans.

But perhaps one of her best lines is her brilliant exclamation as the guard of Tuckahoe Prison in the sitcom challenge. As she looks at her drag queen prisoners, she warns them to "get those nuts away from my face!" It is not only the line itself but the way she delivers it that remains iconic and memorable for fans everywhere.

"Meh." - Nina West

Season 11 queen Nina West is most remembered on Drag Race for her colorful looks, talents as a comedy queen, and a lackluster lip-sync performance against Silky Nutmeg Ganache's equally mediocre lip-sync. The lip-sync was so run-of-the-mill that RuPaul memorably described it as "meh" before telling Nina to "sashay away". So when Nina was announced as Miss Congeniality, she simply responded with "Meh." The table-turned response was in good humor and struck well with fans and has remained one of Drag Race's most recent rent-free quotes.

"You Are So Full Of S**t, The Toilet's Jealous." - Jinkx Monsoon

A dark horse candidate, Jinkx Monsoon continued to surprise both contestants and judges throughout season 5, so it was no wonder she was crowned the winner and became a popular queen among Drag Race competitors.

While known for saying "water off a duck's back" for self-reassurance during the nerve-wracking judge deliberations, this quote is not easy to forget either: "You are so full of s**t, the toilet's jealous." Jinkx dropped the line in the first RuPaul Roast the show had ever featured. Although she didn't win the challenge, Jinkx's performance was well-received and it has become a popular line to convey shade to someone else.

"Go Back To Party City Where You Belong!" - Phi Phi O'Hara

Drag Race was full of rivalries between contestants, ranging from friendly to full-on catty. One of the most infamous rivalries was between Phi Phi O'Hara and Sharon Needles in season 4. During a particularly heated argument in the Werk Room between the two queens, Phi Phi shouted the memorable quote at her spooky queen rival in retaliation for when she called her a "tired-a** showgirl". While this quote has perhaps helped cement finalist Phi Phi as unforgettable for all the wrong reasons, it is certainly no less entertaining.

"Girl, Look How Orange You F***ing Look!" - Alyssa Edwards

Season 5 contestant and Drag Race legend Alyssa Edwards is remembered for a number of things while on the show. This includes her long rivalry with Coco Montrese, her terrible Snatch Game performance as Katy Perry, and her signature tongue pop.

Alyssa spoke a number of memorable lines in her time on the show but one line that will be fondly remembered is when she threw shade at Coco's orange makeup. This wasn't the only insult between the two, but it's certainly one of the most memorable.

"Miss Vaaaanjie... Miss Vaaaaaaanjie... Miss Vaaaaaaaanjie." - Vanessa Vanjie Mateo

One of the most unforgettable quotes to come out of the entire Drag Race franchise is from Vanessa Vanjie Mateo. She was unfortunately eliminated from the very first maxi-challenge of season 10 but she wasn't leaving without making an impact. As she walked backward on the center stage, she repeated her name several times, making sure everyone knew the queen that had just been eliminated. With a final toss of her blonde hair, she exited the stage to laughter and applause.

Vanjie's memorable exit and catchphrase landed so well with the judges, fans, and Mama Ru herself that she was invited back to compete in season 11. The quote went viral as well, with stars such as Andrew Garfield quoting it on national talk shows. "Miss Vaaaaaanjie" continues to echo in the minds of many fans and won't be forgotten any time soon.

"Not Today, Satan. Not Today." - Bianca Del Rio

A compilation of Drag Race memorable quotations would not be complete without this iconic line. Season 6 winner Bianca del Rio is without question one of the most popular and most successful drag queens to appear on Drag Race.

A comedy queen who was not afraid to tell her fellow contestants the truth, Bianca frequently dropped a number of excellent one-liners. "Not today, Satan" was said by Bianca in response to fellow contestant Courtney Act, who unintentionally offended Bianca by suggesting her fashion was unoriginal.  "Not today, Satan" remains one of the greatest quotes to come from Drag Race, and is used all across the internet.

"If You Can't Love Yourself, How The Hell Are You Going To Love Somebody Else? Can I Get An Amen?" - RuPaul

It would be impossible for any RuPaul quote not to live rent-free in fans' heads. From "start your engines" to "sashay away," RuPaul's many catchphrases have become a key part of modern TV.

One of the best ones is her closing line at the end of almost every episode after the eliminated queen has left the stage. This quote is about self-love and self-confidence, the perfect phrase for contestants and fans to finish an episode upon and to remember over and over again.
