When it comes to RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars, only the very best queens get to lip sync for their legacy to seal their fate in the herstory of the franchise. On All Stars 2, Mama Ru introduced the twist where the top two queens of each week would lip sync for their legacy - a significant change from the traditional lip sync between the bottom two contestants.

But as the years went by and the franchise evolved, new rules and twists were introduced to shake things up on Drag Race All Stars. Starting on season 5, the top queen of the week started having to battle against a "lip sync assassin" that was brought into the series just for the purpose of challenging that contestant. That twist was kept for All Stars 6, but RuPaul is already teasing new incoming twists, too.

With that said, after six seasons of the All Stars spin-off, it is obvious that certain lip syncs for your legacy were much more memorable and impactful than others. Thankfully, however, we do have a few top-tier lip syncs to look back on and celebrate.

3. "Anaconda" - BenDeLaCreme Vs. Aja

When BenDeLaCreme and Aja were picked as the top two queens in week one of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 3 and Mama Ru announced that the lip sync for your legacy would be to Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda", it felt like a given that Aja, a Brooklyn queen, would smash the typical campiness of BenDeLaCreme. What transpired was a phenomenal lip sync from Aja indeed, but no one could've foreseen that Ben would deliver a performance that was hilarious enough to win the lip sync. Overall, it was a great lip sync battle for All Stars.

2. "Adrenaline" - Naomi Smalls Vs. Gia Gunn (All Stars 4)

As the season passed by on All Stars 4, the queens arrived at the infamous "LaLaPaRUza" lip sync special in episode 6. The episode had a few good performances, but nothing was more dramatic and iconic as the lip sync for your legacy between Naomi Smalls and Gia Gunn to the tune of RuPaul's "Adrenaline". Gia stood her ground, delivering a great lip sync and a very impressive outfit reveal. Alas, what made this lip sync so strong and iconic was the gravity-defying backbend from Naomi Smalls. The fans will never forget about this moment!

1. "Shut Up & Drive" - Alyssa Edwards Vs. Tatianna (All Stars 2)

When ranking the most iconic lip syncs in RuPaul's Drag Race history - and specifically on All Stars - it is hard to find too many lip syncs that were more fierce and impressive than the lip sync to Rihanna's "Shut Up And Drive" from Alyssa Edwards and Tatianna. The fans often forget that only one queen was supposed to come back into All Stars 2 during that episode. But both of their lip sync performances were so strong that RuPaul was forced to bring back both Alyssa and Tati to the show.
