The first four RuPaul's Drag Race season 15 queens have made themselves known in a sneak peek from the season premiere. The new season premieres January 6th and features 16 new queens competing for the crown. The series premiered in 2009 and has launched stars like Shangela Laquifa Wadley and Trixie Mattel into the spotlight. Shangela placed fourth place in Dancing With The Stars season 31, and Ru recently admitted he thinks she deserved to win one of the several Drag Race seasons she competed in. This season, the series has moved from VH1 to MTV for a fresh start.

Fans can meet four RuPaul's Drag Race season 15 contestants in a new preview that the show released. RuPaul's Drag Race shared the sneak peek on YouTube, which introduces Irene Dubois, Luxx Noir London, Aura Mayari, and Marcia Marcia Marcia. Irene, a Seattle-based Alien queen, immediately sneezes from her own cheap perfume upon entering the werk room. The queen lists Texas and science fiction as her inspirations behind her drag look. Luxx was the next queen to enter the room. "Gagged them a bit for sure," she says with her overconfident attitude. The queen hails from New Jersey and was quickly offended when Irene claimed her hair wasn't actually 40 inches long. "I'm definitely like the prettiest," the Drag Race contestant says when Irene asks about the New Jersey drag scene.

Luxx Might Make Some Enemies On Drag Race Season 15

Next, Nashville-based Aura arrives looking like Taylor Swift from her 2018 reputation stadium tour. She admits she's very inspired by pop stars like Beyoncé, Rihanna, and even Justin Bieber. Aura has a very welcoming presence and is excited to introduce herself to the other queens. Finally, Marcia takes it back to the 70s channeling The Brady Bunch character, with her blonde hair and bandaged nose from the iconic episode when Marcia Brady gets hit in the face with a football. "Marcia Marcia Marcia is like the prom queen, she's a class president, and she's really, really beautiful," the drag queen says of her character before another Drag Race queen jokes that she looks like Jan Brady.

So far, the Drag Race season 15 queens are a diverse and unique bunch. Irene brings an out-of-this-world energy, while Luxx's extreme belief in herself may just take her to the finale. Though, she's bound to ruffle some feathers with the other queens. Whether her superiority complex gets on her fellow contestants' nerves or her self-assurance intimidates them, Luxx might leave the competition with a crown, but she'll definitely leave with some enemies. Aura also stands a chance and seems to have her own authentic confidence that will get her far in Drag Race season 15.

As for Marcia, hopefully, she'll be as popular among judges and fans as she was in high school. Though, she's going to have to work hard to prove she isn't just a pretty face but has a lot more to offer. Unfortunately, the preview left out 12 other Drag Race contestants, so it's impossible to tell how far the first four will make it in the competition. Hopefully, the other queens can bring as much to the series as the first four. With a new network, 16 contestants, and celebrity guest judges like Ariana Grande and Janelle Monáe, Rupaul's Drag Race fans are in for a fantastic season.
