After what seems like years, RuPaul's Drag Race season 14 has finally come to an end, and it's time to explain the finale's most memorable looks. Fans have made it through two queens returning after their eliminations, five non-elimination episodes, and a contestant saved by a candy bar. It all came down to one night, when one queen was able to snatch the crown. Willow Pill killed it at the live finale, becoming the winner of Drag Race season 14.

With any good finale comes a wide array of amazing looks from finalists. A total of twelve looks graced the stage, which filmed in Las Vegas at the Flamingo, where RuPaul's Drag Race Live! has a residency. Each queen gave a Vegas-themed entrance look, as well as a new style for a solo lip-sync performance. Two finalists from those performances did one final lip-sync for the crown, after yet another costume change. Not to mention the fact that last season's reigning queen Symone was also serving her signature dragged-out street style.

While not every outfit can be a winner, there were some unforgettable and heavy-hitting looks and reveals that deserve a little extra time to shine. After all, each of the five RuPaul's Drag Race finalists put in a lot of work to make sure their finale looks were just right. Therefore, they shouldn't have to be confined to one two-hour episode.

Lady Camden's Bridle Couture

Lady Camden hit the red carpet in this beautiful pink and gold get-up. It's giving carriage, it's giving horse. This look feels so true to Camden's style as a performer... fun and a little campy, while also maintaining a level of elegance. The floor-length blonde braid giving an illusion of a tail was an amazing touch, and really shows the attention to detail that Camden puts into all of her RuPaul's Drag Race looks. The feather headpiece made the whole outfit feel very Vegas, fitting with the overall theme. Also, the black accents on her shoes really seemed to tie everything together.

When Lady Camden took off the horse snout, she revealed a gold bridle going over her mouth. This was another great detail, but it was looking almost like headgear, which detracted from the overall elegant vibe of the outfit. It is clear what Camden was going for with this, but it may have been giving the wrong vision, in light of the distance viewers were able to see this part of the ensemble from.

Bosco's Angel and Devil Transformation

angel devil Bosco finale RuPauls Drag Race CROPPED

Some fans may have been a little confused when Bosco took to the stage looking almost angelic. The queen is known for leaning towards the darker side when it comes to her looks, often incorporating sharp angles and horns into her outfits. Bosco's choice of attire was made clear when she revealed a much darker bodysuit underneath. This look felt much more Bosco. Similar to Lady Camden, the two pieces of this look showed Bosco's ability to give a more glamorous style, or something darker and horror-like. The mouths covering the revealed bodysuit and boots had a Stranger Things kind of vibe. The morbid nature could also be a nod to Bosco nearly getting eliminated earlier in the Drag Race season, only to be saved by the golden chocolate bar twist.

A big thing from this outfit was the headpiece, created by Cameron Hughes specifically for the RuPaul's Drag Race finale. Hughes has recently grown in popularity as a designer and creator, blowing up on TikTok for a motorized feathered dress. He them went on to work with Doja Cat, Charli XCX, and now Bosco! This headpiece was custom 3D printed to fit the queen's head, motorizing the feathers on the headpiece to move.

Daya Betty's Insect Ensemble

This look feels so quintessential Daya Betty. The 5-foot long antenna coming from her head created such an interesting silhouette, especially when paired with the dozen or more long feathers sprouting from her back. Daya is already 6'5" naturally, so to add all of this detail lengthened her even more. Every piece of this outfit was hand painted and "rhinestoned" by designer Joshuan Aponte, who has a career making amazing and innovative costumes for drag queens. Even the wig attached to the bug-eye headpiece was perfectly curated just for Daya. All this paired with the absolutely breathtaking and gigantic "inflatable" piece trailing behind her, adding so much dimension to the garment.

This look is a nice reference to an early episode of RuPaul's Drag Race season 14, when Kornbread Jeté offered Daya one thousand dollars to eat a dragonfly they had found on the werkroom floor. Daya took her up on it, eating the bug and creating one of the most iconic moments of the season. It was later confirmed that Kornbread really paid up, making Daya a thousand dollars richer, which might be nice now that she's lost out on the $150,000 prize awarded to the Drag Race winner.

Symone's Wet T-Shirt

While not one of the finalists of this season of RuPaul's Drag Race, Symone was still featured on the finale stage as last season's reigning queen. She proved that she is not about to let the fans forget her, as she came out in a very stylized version of a streetwear look. Symone has perfected the art of making normal clothing seem high fashion, with a dramatic silhouette from her custom wide legged jeans.

However, the part of this ensemble that is so memorable is the top, which at first glance looks like a wet t-shirt. However, the shirt is actually made of plaster, having been molded to the RuPaul's Drag Race queen's body to get a perfect fit. It is not just a top, it is truly a piece of art, and it gives the illusion of wet fabric stuck to Symone's skin.

A fun finale such as this was a perfect way to end season 14. Fans are always treated to incredible looks and memorable moments during these big episodes. It will not be long before there is more RuPaul's Drag Race content, as Drag Race: All Stars season 7 premieres next month. That season will be the first all winners All Stars cast, meaning fans are about to get the first two-time Drag Race winner.
