Tina Burner will have the chance to set the mainstage of RuPaul's Drag Race season 13 on fire. Back on Drag Race season 2, the judges had a hard time connecting with Pandora Boxx, who was arguably the first comedy queen that the show ever featured. But the fans fell in love with Pandora, which encouraged the show to keep casting queens of this kind over the years. But it really wasn't until season 6 that a comedy queen like Bianca Del Rio was able to win the show. Then, it happened again on season 8, as Bob The Drag Queen was crowned the winner.

Since season 9, the winners of RuPaul's Drag Race haven't necessarily been all about the comedy. However, a lot of them did learn from the earlier seasons and do know that comedy is an essential component of this competition. Even fashion queens like Aquaria and Gigi Goode, as well as pageant queens like Jaida Essence Hall and Trinity The Tuck, have learned that they can't be competitive on the show if they're only about turning looks and stunting pretty. That's not to say that all Drag Race winners must be hilarious stand-up comedians - but it does help to be funny sometimes.

On RuPaul's Drag Race season 13, the fans will get to watch Tina Burner bringing her sense of humor to the mainstage. This 39-year-old queen is a legend in New York City and will now get to showcase all of her experience on a huge platform like Drag Race. She has admitted to auditioning quite a few times to be on the show, but it finally happened on season 13. Her name is obviously inspired by Tina Turner, the Queen of Rock 'n' Roll, and her aesthetic is campy and humourous. She has a very long drag career, so she'll have a thing or two to teach these girls. For now, you can follow Tina Burner on Instagram and check out her posts below.

Tina Burner admits that fashion isn't necessarily her expertise, which may or may not affect her journey on Drag Race. Nonetheless, there have been several great competitors in the past that were able to captivate the judges with their charisma and personality, leaving the fashion show of it all for the other queens to worry about.

So here it is, Tina Burner's chance to fight for the crown on RuPaul's Drag Race season 13. We hope that this queen will make us laugh all season long.
