RuPaul's Drag Race has introduced fans to some of the most iconic drag queens in recent years, but the show is only the tip of the fabulous iceberg that is the drag scene. While RPDR fans may be familiar with popular queens like Bianca Del Rio and Trixie Mattel, there are talented queens with established names outside of the show, too.

It’s important to support drag queens who haven’t been on the show, as these talented individuals work hard on their drag careers through performances in various in-person venues or on online shows on social media platforms. These sickening queens have runway-worthy looks, impressive talents, and more often than not, inspiring advocacies rooted in the drag community.

Biqtch Puddin

The avid "gaymer" and winner of the second season of The Boulet Brothers' Dragula, Biqtch Puddin is a force to be reckoned with. The supermonster has built a reputation for herself as the digital drag queen, even starting her own online show, Digital Drag, to help other queens who were struggling during the lockdown.

Biqtch Puddin has also shown her fierce side on Dragula, during some RPDR-like dramatic moments with her fellow queen, Abhora. It would be interesting to see if she brings that same energy to Drag Race, but it will likely be overshadowed by her stunning 90s-inspired, spunky looks.

BibleGirl

The "internet reality trash" queen, BibleGirl, proves that queens can build successful careers in drag without ever having to go on RPDR. She’s best known for her business prowess, having started the successful Drag Queen Merch company, of which she is the current CEO.

While it would be exciting to see BibleGirl and her iconic horns on the show, it likely won’t happen. The queen herself said in an interview with Gay Times that she doesn’t "need it anymore" and that she’s on her own. This self-made queen has forged her own path with charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent, and it’s impossible not to respect that.

Imp Kid

Imp Kid’s looks are carefully crafted works of art that often look like they were taken straight out of an abstract art museum. Her larger-than-life lashes and vibrant outfits would look stunning on any runway.

Beyond her sickening looks, Imp Kid is known for her advocacies and support for the trans drag community. Her Instagram page is full of posts calling for support for her sisters. Representation for transgender individuals and trans drag queens is needed on platforms like RPDR, and it would be amazing to see Imp Kid bring her fabulous self and important advocacies on the show.

Abhora

Known as the Atlanta-based trash queen, Abhora serves nightmarish artsy looks that look like they crawled out of a horror movie. Her colorful grotesque drag style is immediately recognizable when she appears on stage. In 2019, she was rightfully crowned Drag Queen of the Year.

Fans also know Abhora from Dragula season 2, where she was a fierce and entertaining competitor. If she ever appears on RPDR, she’ll likely do really well in some of the craziest challenges on Drag Race, like Queens Behaving Badly or the Warhol Ball.

Porcelain

One of drag queen Porcelain's signature looks

The edgy goth queen, Porcelain, is popular for a lot of reasons. Not only does she have immaculate goth looks, but she’s also a talented tattoo artist, a drummer for a Philly-based band, and a burlesque and suspension performer.

Her multifaceted drag career would almost certainly translate into great performances on Drag Race. From the musical challenges to edgy runway categories, Porcelain is a queen with a lot to bring to the show.

Chloe Waldorf

Chloe Waldorf is a sickening fashion queen through and through. She’s the CEO of her own clothing brand, TheLabel Archive, and she’s known in the drag scene for her flawless eyeliner game and sleek looks that often feature designer clothes.

Chloe Waldorf would definitely be a formidable fashion queen if she ever competes on RPDR. She’d particularly excel in a number of the best runway categories on Drag Race - especially those that call for high fashion looks like Drag Excellence and Latex Eleganza.

Cheddar Gorgeous

Drag queen Cheddar Gorgeous as a unicorn

This Manchester-based drag queen is known for her gagging pearl-covered looks that would undoubtedly steal the spotlight on the runway. Cheddar Gorgeous previously appeared on Drag SOS and has made a name for herself since then as one of the most talented fashion queens around. Her often wigless looks would definitely spice up the main stage on RPDR.

Beyond her detailed ensembles, Cheddar Gorgeous is also outspoken about a number of important issues in the community. A Digital Spy feature highlights how the queen has helped raise funds for the LGBTQIA+ community through her performances and collaborations with other queens like Anna Phylactic and Meth.

Creme Fatale

Drag queen Creme Fatale in and out of drag

Creme Fatale is one of the most popular San Francisco queens, known for her pastel looks and cutesy makeup. The queen can paint and the drag world knows it. She’s also had several collaborations and performances with other iconic queens like Sasha Velour and BenDeLaCreme.

As a cisgender woman doing drag, Creme Fatale has experienced some unwarranted hatred throughout her career. She recounts these experiences in an interview with Gloss Magazine, saying "I want to do drag so badly but everybody where I live says I can’t and I’m not allowed to." With Drag Race often dealing with real issues on the show, it would be amazing to have Creme Fatale represent other queens like her and expand audiences' views of drag as a whole.

Rhea Litre

From her musical prowess to polished outfits, this queen can do it all. Rhea Litre isn’t a stranger to the runway either, as she’s appeared more than a few times on the hottest fashion shows. While Rhea definitely doesn’t need RPDR to advance her already exciting career, it would be fun to watch her win challenges left and right and leave audiences gagging for more.

Miss Toto's fans already know that she's a fierce performer, both offline and online. She continues to entertain fans even during the pandemic through the Blaque Tea Podcast. If she ever appears on Drag Race, this queen will definitely bring all of that talent and energy to give audiences unforgettable performances on the main stage.
