Paramount's animated feature Rumble features multiple real professional sports stars and WWE wrestler cameos. The movie is currently only available on Paramount+ after several delays and date changes, mostly due to COVID-19, compromised the release. Rumble features professional monster wrestling as its core concept and is a partner project with WWE Studios, so as such, it's no surprise that the colorful film boasts several real-life wrestlers and well-known sports personalities among the ranks of its talented voice cast.

Rumble's storyline follows Winnie Coyle (Geraldine Viswanathan), the daughter of legendary monster wrestling coach Jimmy Coyle, who tragically passed away along with his monster, Rayburn. Years later, Winni, who has a knack for the coaching game herself, dreams of following in her dad's footsteps in the monster wrestling big leagues. Rumble also features a monster named Steve the Stupendous, aka Rayburn Jr., who's voiced by Will Arnett of The Lego Batman Movie fame. Though Steve is a definitive amateur who loves salsa dancing more than real wrestling, Rumble sees him and Winnie team up to train and devise a strategy that will bring Steve from a nobody to monster wrestling's next greatest champion using his dancing skills to their advantage. Throughout this journey, Winnie and Rayburn face enormous underdog odds, facing off against the film's seemingly unbeatable antagonist Tentacular, who is played by Brooklyn 99's Terry Crews.

But Rumble's voice cast doesn't just feature notable TV and movie stars. Several supporting characters, as well as a host of other cameos, are actually voiced by real WWE fighters, other professional athletes, and sports personalities and announcers. Here's an explanation of where viewers can find every single one in the film, and how their characters fit into the big picture of Rumble's story.

Becky Lynch As Axehammer

First and foremost, as in the Rocky and Creed franchises, real-life fighters from the WWE make cameo appearances in Rumble. Rebecca Quin (ring name: Becky Lynch), a WWE superstar who performs on the Raw brand, voices underground monster wrestler Axehammer. The character is most noteworthy for her appearance during one of Ray's training sessions, in which she plays the Baby to his Johnny while practicing a Dirty Dancing-style lift.

Roman Reigns As Ramarilla

Joe Anoa'i (ring name: Roman Reigns) is another WWE pro who appears in Rumble. Roman Reigns performs on the SmackDown brand and is the current WWE Universal Champion. He voices Rayburn's first official match opponent, Ramarilla, a fierce, incredibly strong gorilla-like monster with ram horns. Though Ramarilla's appearance in Rumble is brief, he makes a lasting impression because of his almost-comical level of aggression, and the fact that he gives Rayburn such a run for his money. Anoa'i himself has an accredited acting credit alongside wrestling superstar Dwayne Johnson in the 2019 actioner Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.

Charles Barkley As Rayburn Sr.

Rumble also has a few appearances from pro athletes outside of WWE fighting. One of Space Jam's NBA basketball players, Charles Barkley, returns to the silver screen as Ray's dad, Rayburn Sr., in a few flashbacks. Rayburn Sr. doesn't have too many lines in Rumble but plays a significant role since he was one of monster wrestling's top-tier talents before his sudden death. Rayburn Sr. is also a source of tension for Ray, as the young wrestler doesn't want to feel like he's in his father's shadow.

Chris Eubank As King Gorge

Chris Eubank King Gorge Rumble Cameo

Chris Eubank, a former British pro boxer who's considered one of the best middleweight boxers of all time, voices the bulldog-like monster King Gorge that Tentacular takes on in his first match. Like Rayburn Sr., Gorge doesn't utter many lines in the film, but he's a good fit for the renowned Eubank to voice thanks to his Union Jack branding and his status as the reigning champion at the beginning of Rumble. Eubank himself has a limited acting CV, boasting an appearance in the 2004 Orlando Bloom feature The Calcium Kid.

Terry Crews As Tentacular

Likewise, some of Rumble's big actors have a pro sports history. Brooklyn 99's Terry Jeffords actor, Terry Crews, voices the main antagonist in Rumble, Tentacular. Crews played in the NFL for six years back in the '90s before moving into acting, and while he's now better known as an actor than as a professional football player, it's still fitting for him to have a role in Rumble, which is all about professional sports.

Tony Danza As Siggy

In similar fashion to Terry Crews, Tony Danza, who voices Tentacular's coach, Siggy, also had a brief professional sports career before moving into acting. Danza, who's best known for his roles in the TV shows Taxi and Who's the Boss? was actually a boxer before switching to acting in the late '70s.

Stephen A. Smith As Marc Remy

Rumble not only utilizes professional athletes in its voice cast, but famous sports commentators and TV personalities as well. One of these is Stephen A. Smith, an iconic American sports analyst for ESPN, who plays monster wrestling analyst Marc Remy. YouTube star Jimmy Tatro voices his co-anchor, Lights Out McGinty, and often has to vouch for Rayburn's promise as an unconventional wrestler when the highly skeptical Remy tries to put him down and call him an embarrassment.

Michael Buffer As The Ring Announcer

Michael Buffer MC Rumble Cameo

Smith isn't the only well-known sports personality to make a fitting appearance in Rumble. Last but certainly not least, famous boxing MC Michael Buffer, who trademarked the catchphrase "let's get ready to rumble," voices Stoker's ring announcer. This is a perfect cameo, as it sees Buffer doing what he does best, even delivering his signature line during the first match of the movie. Not only that, but Buffer's cameo is a fitting nod to Rumble's title itself, which is taken from his classic MC routine. Thus, of all the real WWE wrestler and sports star cameos in Rumble, Buffer's is likely the most significant because of how closely it relates to what the movie is about.
