It's safe to say that if a series runs for nine seasons and then comes back twenty years later for a reboot, it's a pretty successful show. That's exactly what happened with the sitcom Roseanne, which originally ran from 1988 to 1997. Then the cast came back for one season in 2018 before it was renamed The Conners.

Unfortunately, not every episode of a successful show is deemed a success as well. Fans have taken to IMDb to vote on episodes they love and love to hate, giving each of them a score out of ten. Here are the lowest rated episodes of each season:

Season 1: Episode 5 Radio Days - 7.1

John Goodman as Dan singing for the family on Roseanne

Two episodes earned a low score for season one, and in this episode, the Conners are pulling on their cowboy boots and picking up their banjos because a nearby radio station is having a country western song contest. With Dan on the guitar and Roseanne writing lyrics, their song is bound to be a winner and become a big hit. Unfortunately, the two do not win, but they teach their kids that winning is not the most important thing.

Season 2: Episode 8 Sweet Dreams - 5.1

In the series' first and only musical episode, we see Roseanne trying to take a bath and get some much needed relaxation, during which, she falls asleep and has a very strange dream.

In it, she ends up murdering her children and husband, and her sister Jackie is her arresting officer and lawyer. Her family comes back from the dead to testify, and then the scene turns into a musical.

Season 3: Episode 8 PMS I Love You - 7.2

Dan the Man is having a birthday, but it just so happens to fall on a day where Roseanne is “PMSing.” Dan would rather go fishing than be around his hormonal wife, but when he hears that the lake is frozen, he decides to go bowling instead. However, when the family insists on throwing him a surprise party, he has to suck it up and make the best of the situation. Dan’s birthday tied with one other episode this season.

Season 4: Episode 7 Vegas - 7.2

Roseanne and Dan have been getting on each other’s nerves lately, but hey, no marriage is perfect. Speaking of marriage, Arnie is planning to marry Nancy, and with an all expense paid trip to Las Vegas, Roseanne and Dan decide to attempt to put aside their differences and tag along. However, even a vacation in a new city and time away from the kids don’t seem to bring them closer together.

Season 5: Episode 18 Lose A Job, Winnebago - 7.1

Roseanne

Looks like it’s time for another vacation. The Conner family is hitching a ride with the neighbors in their Winnebago to head to Hollywood, California, which was Roseanne’s choice. They weren’t originally going that way, but Roseanne wants to be in the audience on, “The Price is Right.”

The trip doesn’t go quite as planned, especially with Dan trying to convince Roseanne to have another baby, and DJ inviting a hitchhiker to come with them.

Season 6: Episode 17 Don't Make Room For Daddy - 7.1

Jackie has decided that she does not want Fred in her or the baby’s life, and Fred is not happy about it. Dan accidentally gives him the idea to sue Jackie for custody of their child, and Fred thinks it’s a great plan. Jackie is extremely upset by Fred’s actions, and Dan tries to stay out of the dog house and not let anyone know that it was his suggestion. The bottom slot for the season was tied up with this and another episode.

Season 7: Episode 11 Maybe Baby - 6.5

Roseanne is pregnant, and she is currently awaiting some test results to see if anything is wrong with the baby. This has her very stressed out, as any expectant mother would be. Everyone around her has an opinion and unsolicited advice to offer, and this only upsets Roseanne and makes her even more overwhelmed. All she can do for the time being is wait by the phone and hope for the best.

Season 8: Episode 5 Halloween - The Final Chapter - 6.0

A score of 6.0 is popular for this season, with three episodes being given the last place position. While most Halloween episodes of Roseanne rank pretty high, this year’s did not. Roseanne tries to communicate with the other side with a Ouija board, and it predicts her labor.

At the hospital, Roseanne has a bit of a drug induced dream in which she meets the spirit of Jerry Garcia, whom she names her baby after when she wakes up.

Season 9: Episode 9 Roseambo - 2.6

The lowest rated episode out of them all barely gets a score above two and a half. Roseanne and her family are on a train to Washington, DC along with a diplomat named Dr. Bakshi. A group of terrorists hijack the train, and they take the Conners and the doctor hostage. Luckily, Roseanne is able to break free and take on the hijackers. As if this episode can't get any weirder, Roseanne later gets to meet Hillary Clinton.

Season 10: Episode 2 Dress To Impress - 7.5

It's twenty years after the original series ended, and Darlene's son Mark has been caught with a pocket knife at school after he gets bullied for dressing feminine. Roseanne decides to take matters into her own hands and talk to the class about how even though Mark chooses to dress different, he is still like everybody else. Also during this episode, Becky is planning to be a surrogate for a woman named Andrea, who wants to meet the family. While a 7.5 score isn't bad, it still lands this and one other episode in last place.
