In the format of most animated movies, Ron's Gone Wrong places huge importance on the talent of its voice cast. This particular cast sports several up-and-coming actors, as well as some that have already enjoyed extensive and successful careers.

Zach Galifianakis - The Hangover Trilogy (2009 - 2013)

Zach Galifianakis plays the titular B*Bot Ron, whose malfunctions make up a large part of the plot and humor in the film. Ron is also middle schooler Barney's "Best Friend Out of the Box," who accompanies him throughout the events of the story. Galifianakis's voice likely sounds familiar to some viewers, as he has had several starring roles throughout the years.

One of Galifianakis's most prominent roles is that of Alan Garner in The Hangover trilogy. Similar to his role as Ron, Alan Garner is often erratic in his behavior, not always understanding social cues. In this role, Galifianakis also gets to perform the short but sweet original song, "Three Best Friends."

Jack Dylan Grazier - Shazam! (2019)

Newly bursting onto the Hollywood scene, Jack Dylan Grazier plays the protagonist of the film, a middle schooler named Barney Pudowski. Barney's friend group is not as large as he wishes it was, causing him to look elsewhere, eventually taking in Ron as a substitute.

The 18-year-old actor has seen his fair share of blockbuster movies, but fans will most likely recognize his performance as Freddy Freeman in Shazam! -- arguably the best DCEU movie, to date. His character of Freddy is brother to the titular hero and coaches him in the ways of being a superhero throughout the film. Grazier will return to this role for the sequel, slated to come out in summer 2023.

Olivia Colman - The Favourite (2018)

Critically acclaimed actress Olivia Colman adds some prestige to the cast of the film, lending her voice to the character of Donka. Donka is Barney's grandmother, an immigrant and the only motherly figure in Barney's life.

Colman's career includes plenty of noteworthy roles, but perhaps most notable is the one for which she received an Academy Award. 2018's The Favourite saw Colman take on the role of Queen Anne, whose affections Sarah Churchill (Rachel Weisz) and Abigail Masham (Emma Stone) go to great lengths to procure.

Ed Helms - The Office (2006 - 2013)

Comedy legend Ed Helms also offers his talent to the film, taking on the role of Graham Pudowski, Barney's widower father, tasked with raising his shy child in a world of increasing technological dependency. Graham, along with mother-in-law Donka, is the one who eventually works up the money to buy Barney his very own B*Bot.

Helms has had several prominent roles throughout his long career in the world of comedy. Most people will recognize him as the annoying but great guy, Andy Bernard, on NBC's iconic series The Office. Helms played Andy over the course of seven seasons, seeing the character go from annoying side character to an integral part of the show's main cast, eventually even being promoted to the manager position within the office.

Rob Delaney - Deadpool 2 (2017)

Rob Delaney portrays the villainous CEO of the Bubble Company, Andrew Morris. Morris is used by the film as a proxy for many real-life social media giants, mining users' data to sell to advertisers. When he realizes that Ron is offline, and therefore not earning him money, Morris makes it his personal mission to track down and destroy the glitching robot.

Delaney has several projects on the horizon, including appearing in the Disney+ reboot of the Home Alone franchise as a hapless robber and in next year's Mission: Impossible 7 in an as-of-yet-undisclosed role. However, comic fans will likely recognize him as the palpably powerless Peter from Deadpool 2, who joins the X-Force on their suicide mission.

Kylie Cantrall - Gabby Duran & the Unsittables (2019 - )

16-year-old Kylie Cantrall also joins the cast as Savannah Meades, Barney's classmate and crush. Cantrall is relatively new to the acting scene, but has made a name for herself previously as a YouTube star under the name "Hello Kylie."

The biggest acting credit to her name, thus far, is the main role of Gabby in Gabby Duran and the Unsittables, a Disney Channel original series that follows her character in her attempts to babysit alien children. The series is currently in its second season and is expected to be renewed for a third.

Ricardo Hurtado - Malibu Rescue (2019)

Playing one of Barney's classmates, Rich Belcher, is another Hollywood newcomer, Ricardo Hurtado. Rich Belcher often gives Barney trouble, but Ron's arrival on the scene begins to change the dynamic between the two boys, as Rich begins to experience first-hand the other side of bullying at the robot's hand.

Though Hurtado is still in the early stages of his career, he has a few acting credits to his name. Most notable is his performance as Tyler Gossard, the reluctant hero in the Malibu Rescue Netflix original series, which also includes two straight-to-streaming movies.

Justice Smith - Detective Pikachu (2019)

Justice Smith portrays Marc, one of the minds behind the invention of the B*Bots, the line of robots meant to be a kid's automated best friend. Working for the Bubble Company, Marc must wrestle with the inherent flaws in his invention under the watchful eye of his frightening boss, Andrew Morris.

Fans will likely know Smith from his appearance in the 2019 hit, Detective Pikachu, based on the popular Nintendo video game series, Pokémon. Smith played the human protagonist Tim Goodman, who partners with Pikachu (voiced by Ryan Reynolds) to unravel a mystery surrounding the disappearance of his father.

Marcus Scribner - Black-ish (2014 - 2022)

Marcus Scribner plays the other co-creator of the B*Bots, whose dim-wittedness is responsible for Ron's malfunctions throughout the course of the movie. He works alongside Justice Smith's character, Marc, who seems more competent in his job by contrast.

Scribner is best known for his work on ABC's sitcom Black-ish, where he's played one of the best characters, Andre Johnson Jr., for the past seven years. He has reprised this role in both the spinoff, Grown-ish, and the short-lived prequel series, Mixed-ish.

Bonus: Liam Payne - One Direction

Though not one of the main characters in the film, Liam Payne of One Direction fame is confirmed to be voicing one of the characters in Ron's Gone Wrong. In addition, his new single, "Sunshine," will be appearing on the movie's soundtrack.

While Payne's role has not yet been publicly disclosed, he revealed at the London Film Festival, as reported by Evening Standard that he was motivated to do the movie for his son. Fans of the disbanded group are sure to be drawn to check out the movie if only to see who Payne plays and to check out the soundtrack.
