Ron Howard and Brian Grazer want to get your script turned into a Netflix movie. The exciting project will allow aspiring screenwriters the possibility to have their feature film scripts developed in four different genres. Large scale action-adventure movies for all ages is the first genre the project is currently seeking submissions for, with the deadline being July 6th.

The script submission project is the result of a team-up with Netflix and a part of Ron Howard and Brian Grazer's production company called Imagine Impact. While the action-adventure genre is currently open for submissions, the next three genres will be announced this July, September, and November, respectively. Writers who want to throw their creative hats in the ring can apply here.

Solo writers and writing teams are allowed to apply. Writers will be required to submit a 30-second video pitch, a full-length teleplay or screenplay, and a link to a previously produced work (if the writer has one.) It remains unclear if Ron Howard himself will play a significant role in producing and or possibly directing some of the accepted scripts. However, it's fantastic that his and Brian Glazer's production company is offering an opportunity for writers to get their work developed in a competitive industry, particularly with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
