These heroines risk it all for love and always get their happy ending, even if it isn't always what they thought it'd be.

Loretta feels tied by duty to a life she doesn't necessarily want. She is capable of controlling her emotions to the point of suppressing them. Loretta avoids making decisions with the heart, but the movie shows her journey to embrace her emotional needs. Still, Loretta would be a worthy member of Slytherin, where her more calculating instincts would flourish.

Nowadays, Angela Bassett is best known for her multiple roles in American Horror Story and her supporting roles in franchises like Black Panther and Mission: Impossible. However, her career thrived during the 90s thanks to movies like How Stella Got Her Groove Back, the story of a woman who finds love on vacation and must learn to balance her personal and professional lives.

Stella is a consummate professional, a successful stockbroker and single mother from California. She is very goal-oriented and isn't afraid to show her tough side. Stella's independence and intelligence make her a perfect addition to Ravenclaw, where her talents would be greatly appreciated.

Holly Golightly (Breakfast At Tiffany's) - Gryffindor

Audrey Hepburn as Holly Holightly in Breakfast at Tiffany's

Tempestuous and impulsive, Holly Golightly is a tornado of energy, charm, and independence. She is the very definition of a free spirit, a girl who's desperately trying to escape her past. Holly lives in New York with a nameless cat, in a state of wilful detachment.

Holly shows traits from multiple houses. She has a Ravenclaw's individuality, a Slytherin's resourcefulness, and a Huflepuff's warmth. However, she's most likely a Gryffindor, thanks to her courage, impulsiveness, stubbornness, and never-ending curiosity.

Clueless, Amy Heckerling's modern-day take on Jane Austen's classic Emma, follows Cher Horowitz, a spoiled but kind heiress from Beverly Hills. Thanks to its visionary fashion sense, infinitely quotable lines, and Alicia Silverstone's star-making performance, Clueless still holds up today.

Cher is the best example of a Hufflepuff. She's clever but warm, energetic but sweet, selfless and always trying to help. Her heart is always in the right place, even if her actions are sometimes self-serving. Still, Cher is the sort of girl who will always lend a hand to those in need.

Played with vibrant brilliance by Kate Winslet, in one of the best performances of her revered career, Clementine is one of the best characters in modern rom-coms, a woman who refuses to let others define her. She embraces her chaos, admitting who she is at all times.

Clementine is a textbook Gryffindor, although she also has some Slytherin qualities. She is passionate and impulsive, reckless even, always following her heart's impulses without paying much attention to her mind's judgments. And while she often finds herself in trouble, she wouldn't have it any other way.

Bridget often speaks her mind without paying much attention to the consequence, providing her with an endearing quality that makes her irresistible to audiences.

Despite her insecurities, Bridget is courageous, quitting her job and beginning a new career from scratch. She isn't afraid of bold gestures and will run in the snow in her panties if it means getting her true love. Bridget belongs in the house of the lion, and while she may never be one of the most notable or powerful Gryffindors, she'd still be a worthy representative of the house.
