The opposite of showing British pride, this outfit gives a shout-out to American patriotism. A closer look at the ensemble shows the singer dressed in red, white, and blue square prints with a tank top full of stars, closely representing the American flag.

The costume designers of the film were influenced by The Wizard of Oz for this look, which was supposed to take place after John's release of the album Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.
This ensemble included a blue suit, ruby red shoes like Dorothy, a silver shirt for the Tin Man, a fur coat for the Cowardly Lion, and a straw hat for the Scarecrow. Egerton even chose to wear an emerald ring with the outfit to represent Emerald City.

Although the real ensemble was inspired by Louis XIV, the one created for Rocketman was even more fabulous as it took inspiration from the one and only Queen Elizabeth I. This uniform was inspired by John's 1975 sold-out Dodgers Stadium concerts and is one of his most famous outfits. According to the film's costume designer, this version of the uniform has more than 260,000 crystals from his hat to his shoes.

A play on the real John's chicken costume, this striking ensemble is hard to miss. During a key part in the film, this outfit is shown when John is trying to be taken seriously by the audience, all while sporting the most outrageous outfit one has ever designed.
The costume includes a sequined codpiece and more than 500 feathers.

One of the most iconic looks and the one that is shown in the opening scenes, the devil costume is one that is unforgettable to most viewers. The outfit was designed to represent John's bad-boy era that led up to his time in rehab, in addition to the star wanting real, true love.
