Rocket League is infamous for its pop-culture cross overs including Stranger Things, Batman, and even Twisted Metal. These crossovers usually take the form of a new car skin and accessories. The crossover with Batman introduced the Bat Mobile, Stranger things brought a plethora of decals and wheels, and Twisted Metal brought the horrifying clown car, Sweet Tooth

These crossovers are usually in the form of paid DLC, but some skins are available for players to obtain depending on what platform they play on. One such crossover vehicle is the Samus' Gunship vehicle based on Nintendo's popular Metroid series. This skin is a Nintendo Switch exclusive and is only available to play with on Switch.

How to Unlock Samus' Gunship in Rocket League

Rocket League Samus Gunship

Samus's Gunship is a Nintendo Switch exclusive so it can only be unlocked by players who own a copy of Rocket League for the Nintendo Switch. It is also relatively easy to unlock as players just need to play matches on the Nintendo Switch until it is unlocked. There is not a set number of matches needed to be played in order to unlock the vehicle, it will unlock randomly like other loot.

Once matches are complete the Gunship will be unlocked. The Gunship has two variants, blue and orange, depending on what team you are on. Players can only use the Gunship if they are playing on Nintendo Switch, and only other Switch players can see the Gunship skin. If you are playing cross-platform the gunship will appear as the Breakout skin. Samus' Gunship is not compatible with decals, wheels, or other contrails.
