A new line of Hot Toys figures from Avengers: Infinity War is showing off the impressive size difference between Groot and Rocket the Racoon in the Russo Brothers' upcoming movie.

While the Guardians of the Galaxy were largely absent from the Infinity War trailer, fans know that Star-Lord and co. will play a big part in the battle with the Mad Titan Thanos. Alongside the likes of Chris Pratt's Quill and Zoe Saldana's Gamora, Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper's respective roles as Groot and Rocket have made them fan-favorites of the past two Guardians movies. Promising more rough 'n' ready action from the intergalactic rogues in Infinity War, the pair appears to be tooling up to take on their biggest threat yet with these latest figures.

Hot Toys Groot and Rocket Infinity War

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 may have featured a pint-sized Baby Groot, but one post-credit scene teased an adolescent version of the character in full angsty teen mode. It was already confirmed that Teenage Groot would be the version featured in Infinity War, and it looks like he has had a growth spurt. The Groot figure comes with interchangeable hands and accessories - even featuring the hand-held games console he was seen with at the end of Vol.2. - while Rocket has a variety of weapons, including his suped-up blaster.

Taking a trip in outer space, Thanos will have to pay a visit to Benicio del Toro's Collector to nab the Reality Stone, and it could be here that he crosses paths with the Guardians. The trailer also revealed that after the cliffhanger ending of Thor: Ragnarok, the God of Thunder will meet the team. However, while new alliances are sure to be formed, at least Groot and Rocket will get to continue their bromance. Sadly, the figures do come with a tragic twist after James Gunn confirmed that Groot really did die at the end of the first movie, meaning fans will actually be playing with Groot 2.0, aka his son.

For those who haven't already started saving for the Groot and Rocket figures, there are also some other notable toys to whet their appetite. Alongside a short-haired Thor, Iron Man's Bleeding Edge armor, and a detailed look at Josh Brolin's Thanos, there is also a super-sized Infinity Gauntlet replica, complete with all the Infinity Stones and just a snip at $930. Although the Groot is available on its own, how could anyone separate the inseparable duo? Pre-orders are being taken now, with the figures expected to ship toward the start of 2019 - just in time for Avengers 4!
