The late, great Robin Williams had a long and varied movie career beginning in 1977 and spanning over three decades. His last role was as the voice of Dennis the Dog in Absolutely Anything in 2015.

Over that time Williams gained a reputation as a magnificent actor with fantastic comedy timing. He starred in many movies of different genres and has over 100 acting credits to his name.

His movies are always a great watch, so we've pulled together a list of which ones are currently available on US Netflix. On Netflix: Hook (1991)

Williams takes on one of the lead roles as Peter Banning, a grown-up Peter Pan who must recover his youthful spirit and return to Neverland. The movie follows Banning's quest to rescue his children, who were kidnapped by Captain Hook, played by Dustin Hoffman.

This Steven Spielberg directed adaptation of J.M. Barrie's works divided critics but still remains a solid watch. Family-friendly fun is the name of the game in this adventurous tale. Hoffman and Williams are well worth the watch.

We Want: Aladdin (1992)

To this day, one of William's most loved roles is as the Genie in the 1992 Disney movie Aladdin. The animated tale of a kind-hearted street urchin falling in love with a princess is a classic that remains so even now.

In order to spend more time with them, he disguises himself as a female housekeeper, Mrs. Doubtfire.

Williams really shows his range here as he perfectly switches into the elderly housekeeper role and back to that of a regular dad. The story is heartwarming and engaging, a must watch that we wish we could see on Netflix.
