The Batman star Robert Pattinson teases his co-star Zoë Kravitz for being a Twilight "hater" in a hilarious new video. Pattinson and Kravitz are gearing up for the release of The Batman, which sees the pair star as Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle. Early reviews for The Batman have been overwhelmingly positive so far, with the movie set to officially release in theatres March 4. Matt Reeves' highly anticipated Batman retelling will focus on Bruce Wayne's second year as Batman, as he adapts to his new alias as protector of Gotham City. Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, Colin Farrell, and Andy Serkis will also star alongside Pattinson and Kravitz.

Pattinson has established himself as a household name over the past few years with a number of stand-out performances in films such as The Lighthouse and, more recently, Christopher Nolan's Tenet. However, many will likely still know him from his breakout role as Edward Cullen in The Twilight Saga, which saw him play the brooding vampire across the 5-film series. Twilight quickly achieved cult status when it was first released back in 2008, as it adapted Stephanie Meyer's best-selling book series of the same name. Over the years, the Twilight series has drawn its fair share of haters, including Pattinson himself, who became somewhat of a meme for his not-so-fond memories of the series. But for many, the nostalgia that the films hold is enough to cement it as a classic 2000s hit.

That nostalgia, however, doesn't appear to be there for Pattinson's co-star Kravitz, who has now revealed that she isn't exactly a fan of the Twilight series. In a hilarious clip, shared to Tik Tok by People Magazine (via @pattinsonphotos), Kravitz revealed that she has only ever seen the first Twilight movie because her friend made her see it with her in theatres. She add that she didn't even remember it. Pattinson hilariously tells Kravitz that "it's not even cool to be a hater anymore," before continuing "that's so 2010." The pair then share a laugh at Kravitz's apparent disdain towards the franchise. Check out the clip below.

Pattinson's history with the Twilight franchise has been a popular topic of discussion throughout his promotional run for The Batman. The 35-year-old previously offered some hilarious insights into his time as Edward Cullen, including how he auditioned for the role while on valium. Despite Kravitz not being a fan of some of her colleague's previous works, the High Fidelity star has praised Pattinson for his take on the character of Bruce Wayne, previously stating that he is "perfect" for the role

Pattinson's light-hearted defense of Twilight is hilarious to see, considering that he is often on the other side of the debate when it comes to mocking the teen vampire flicks. As Pattinson and Kravitz near the end of their promotional run for The Batman, audiences can't wait to see what the film has in store for Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle. Various teasers for the film have shown glimpses of potential tension between The Bat and The Cat pairing. As for now though, it's likely that Pattinson won't be inviting Kravitz to his next Twilight movie marathon.
