A new image from Rob Zombie's The Munsters shows Lily Munster visiting a lemonade stand. Zombie's upcoming film is a reboot of the beloved 1960s sitcom of the same name, following a family of monsters who move from Transylvania to an American suburb. The Munsters movie was announced in 2021 with Zombie providing filming updates on social media in recent weeks. Although Zombie is known for gory, R-rated films like Halloween, it has been confirmed that The Munsters will be a family-friendly movie akin to the original show.

Among his updates, Zombie has teased the impressive set design for the Munsters' house, 1313 Mockingbird Lane. He's also provided first looks at numerous characters, including Lily Munster, who is played by his real-life wife, Sheri Moon Zombie. In addition to Zombie, The Munsters features an impressive cast, including Cassandra Peterson as Barbara Carr, Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman Munster, Daniel Roebuck as Grandpa Munster, Jorge Garcia as Floop, and Sylvester McCoy as Igor.

In a new Instagram post, Zombie shares yet another look at The Munsters, showing Lily visiting a lemonade stand set up just outside of 1313 Mockingbird Lane by some kids. Check out Zombie's post below:

The new image provides another look at both the Munsters' house and Lily's costume and makeup, teasing the immense level of detail Zombie has put into his upcoming Munsters reboot. While it's not clear who the children are in the image, Zombie's caption suggests that the movie will have kids and adults react differently to the Munster family, with adults being scared but younger people maybe not so much. It remains to be seen how the children and the lemonade stand will feature into the final film. However, with Zombie teasing big news, which he later revealed to be a teaser trailer, hopefully, all will be revealed soon.

Although the Munsters show is many decades old at this point, those who enjoy Zombie and his filmography are clearly eager to see the director's new take. It stands to reason the first trailer will offer more insight into Lily and the rest of the Munster family and maybe even potentially tease the role of the lemonade stand featured in Zombie's post. For now, however, those looking forward to Zombie's The Munsters movie will have to make do with the director's behind-the-scenes posts on social media.
