The CW's hit show Riverdale has halted its season 4 production in Vancouver after a member of their team came into contact with the coronavirus. Riverdale follows the classic characters from Archie Comics, including Archie Andrews (KJ Apa), Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart), Veronica Lodge (Camilla Mendes), and Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse). While it is still set in Riverdale, with Pop's Diner and Josie and the Pussycats, the CW's version is darker, featuring lots of mystery and murder.

As reported by THRRiverdale was filming the fourth season in Vancouver when this incident caused them to shut down production. A statement from Warner Bros. Television stated that the "team member is currently receiving medical evaluation," and "the health and safety of our employees, casts and crews is always our top priority."
