Ritu Arya appears in all three episodes of this short-form series as the character Becky, one of the office workers who becomes a target of her co-worker's paranoia. Unfortunately for Becky, she gets the brunt of many of the show's most stressful scenes.

Ritu Arya makes an appearance in this indie film as the character Rachida. This was a comparatively small role in the film overall, but it was one of Arya's earlier works that introduced her to a much wider audience than ever before. Netflix's new action-comedy Red Notice is a globetrotting adventure with a star-studded cast including Dwayne Johnson as Agent John Hartley, Ryan Reynolds as Nolan Booth, and Gal Gadot as the Bishop, the world's foremost art thief. Though the Netflix original was not warmly received by critics, it has been met with audience fascination, quickly becoming the streaming platform's most popular original film of all time.

It's clear that Red Notice is built up around likable characters and equally likable actors. Joining the impressive cast, Arya portrays Inspector Das, the Interpol agent hot on the tail of Booth and Hartley as they attempt to beat the Bishop to the last of the three ancient eggs of Cleopatra.

Last Christmas (2019) - 6.5

Released in 2019, Last Christmas was perfect for the holiday season. Starring Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) and Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians), the feel-good movie is considered by some to be one of the best Christmas films of the decade.

Ritu Arya plays a minor role in the film as Jenna, a pregnant friend of Katrina Andrich (Clarke), with whom she stays after falling on hard times. Jenna attempts to be patient with Katrina throughout the course of the film but eventually makes the decision to kick her out of her family's house.

The fifth episode of Doctor Who's twelfth series, entitled "Fugitive of the Judoon," saw the titular Doctor (Jodie Whittaker) attempting to unravel an invasion of Judoon, one of the greatest monsters from the Doctor Who mythos, in Glouchester. The episode is most notable, however, for seeing the return of John Barrowman's Captain Jack Harkness, who had not made an appearance on the series in years.

Ritu Arya makes a guest appearance on this episode of the series, playing the character Gat, an operative working with the Juddoon. There is more to Gat than meets the eye, however, as her true identity proves to be rather startling to the Doctor--as well as incredibly dangerous.

Feel Good (2020) - 7.5

Feel Good is a British television dramedy loosely depicting the events in the life of Mae Martin, who plays a fictionalized version of herself in the series, joined by Charlotte Ritchie as her girlfriend Georgina Lawson. The series ran for two seasons, coming to an end in June of 2021.

Ritu Arya entered the series in season 2. Arya portrayed the character Lila Pitts, who has the power to mirror others' abilities, though that wasn't revealed until the finale. Her inclusion sets up some interesting things for season 3.

Many fans may recognize Benedict Cumberbatch from his role in the MCU as Doctor Strange, but few could forget his days as the legendary Sherlock Holmes, in one of the best-received modern versions of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's iconic hero detective. Ritu Arya gets the chance to perform alongside Cumberbatch in the series three episode, "The Sign of Three."

In this episode, Sherlock attempts to solve the mystery behind a murder that has not taken place yet, all while performing his duties as the best man at the wedding of Dr. John Watson (Martin Freeman). Arya makes a brief appearance as Gail, someone who is questioned by the brilliant detective. Only the second credited role of her career, this appearance portended greater things for Arya in the future.
