There are few video game franchises that can rival the success of the prolific Tomb Raider. Lara Croft has been brought to life in several video games, two feature films, comic books, novels and even theme park rides; a new film reboot is even in development and currently seeking a director.
Next though, the latest entry in the Tomb Raider video game saga, Rise of the Tomb Raider, will be released on the Xbox this holiday season by publishers Microsoft, Square Enix and developer Crystal Dynamics. The game plot revolves around Lara Croft and Jonah Maiava seeking out the Siberian Lost City of Kitezh, in hopes of learning the supernatural secrets behind the myths of the world.
