Helmed by The Wedding Singer director Frank Coraci, The Ridiculous 6 is an Adam Sandler-fronted comedy western that arrived on Netflix back in 2015. The movie follows the misadventures of six men who learn they share the same biological father – a veteran bank robber and philanderer who is dying of consumption and wants to make amends with one of his sons by bequeathing him a large sum of money that he has stashed away. When he’s later kidnapped by his old gang, the six half-brothers have to unite to rescue their long-lost father.
The Ridiculous 6 is notable for being the first movie released as part of a high-profile distribution deal struck between Netflix and Adam Sandler’s production company Happy Madison that has also spawned films like Sandy Wexler or Murder Mystery. Unfortunately, The Ridiculous 6 is arguably considered the worst movie to come out of the Netflix-Happy Madison partnership and is one of the few films to earn a 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Despite being panned, the western spoof set a new viewership record for Netflix when it ranked as the most-watched new release in the streaming service’s history at that time.

Chico is a saloon piano player who – according to his newfound father – got his muscles from his mother. He’s played by Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Terry Crews.
