Riders Republic has a slight learning curve, which means players may need some tips and tricks to help them get started. While the tutorials and introductory missions in Riders Republic explain the basics, there are a few additional things for new players to keep in mind. Certain tips, tricks, and strategies can help players get a grasp on Riders Republic while playing solo or with friends.

The first thing players will want to do is try out both the Racer and Trickster preset configurations. The racer configuration allows players to control the camera freely with the right stick while doing spins and flips with the face buttons. Conversely, trickster mode has a fixed camera, but allows players to use the right stick for spins and flips. The racer mode is good to start out with, but the trickster mode allows for more intuitive motion controls for tricks. Either option is viable for players in Riders Republic.

Next, players must try all three landing modes to determine which mode is best for them. The three landing modes are automatic, manual, and Steep. Automatic mode will automatically adjust players’ spins and flips to complete full rotations cleanly before landing. Manual landing mode forces players to adjust their spins and flips manually, however, this mode gives players more control over their trick animations. Steep mode combines the two modes allowing players to control their rotations, while the game takes over if the rotation isn’t clean. Players can even watch ghost riders to learn how to properly adjust landings.

Riders Republic Tutorial: How To Finish As Fast As Possible

Once players have a good understanding of the basic controls in Riders Republic, they will need to learn how to do tricks. The game explains how to do tricks during the tutorials; however, other aspects of maneuvers need to be explained further. Pressing any of the face buttons and releasing it will make the player jump when on bikes, skis, or snowboards. Pressing any of the face buttons after jumping will start a various spin, flip, or combination of both. Players can also use the LT/L2 and RT/R2 buttons to perform grabs and other tricks. Players can then combine spins, flips, and trigger button tricks to make maneuvers all their own.

Finally, players will want to explore the map freely to discover more about the game. Completing events, challenges, and daily sponsor contracts will broaden players’ knowledge of Riders Republic and allow them to beef up their skills simultaneously. While the learning curve may be tough, it’s worth it to learn the basics in Riders Republic. Showing off complicated maneuvers to friends over crossplay might be the most fun activity in the entire game.
