Rick and Morty creator and showrunner, Dan Harmon, has voiced an impressive 23 Rick and Morty characters. Co-creator Justin Roiland is probably better known for performing in Rick and Morty, voicing both the titular roles along with a selection of others. But Harmon actually voices a large swathe of minor Rick and Morty characters, including several fan favorites.

Rick and Morty co-creator Dan Harmon lends his voice to a variety of roles in Rick and Morty. Despite playing several regular and popular characters, some of Harmon's roles are so minor they are unspecified or uncredited. For the purposes of this list, only named characters credited to Dan Harmon have been included, along with which Rick and Morty episode in which they first appeared.

1 Davin ("Pilot")

Dan Harmon appears in the very first episode of Rick and Morty as Beth's handsome co-worker at the horse hospital. Davin would later be killed during episode 6, "Rick Potion #9" by a jealous Jerry. Later in the "Pilot", Harmon also voices one of the Gromflomite guards and a red alien at Intergalactic Customs.

2 Alejandro ("Anatomy Park")

Alejandro appears briefly in Rick and Morty season 1, episode 3, "Anatomy Park," during the post-credits sequence. Rick is on a conference call, discussing the new Anatomy Park being built inside Summer's boyfriend, Ethan. During the call, Dan Harmon's Alejandro breaks the news that Rick's beloved Pirates of the Pancreas exhibit is being reconsidered, prompting Rick to angrily hang up.

3 Kevin ("M. Night Shaym-Aliens!)

Dan Harmon plays Kevin in Rick and Morty season 1, episode 4, "M. Night Shaym-Aliens!" Kevin is one of the Zigerions who have trapped Rick and Morty in a simulation to steal Rick's portal technology. Kevin is the nerdy Zigerion dressed in yellow, who was forced to spy on Morty naked to replicate his genitals accurately in the simulation.

4 Mr. Marklovitz (M. Night Shaym-Aliens!)

Dan Harmon also lends his voice to Jerry's boss Mr. Marklovitz in "M. Night Shaym-Aliens!" The Rick and Morty creator was able to employ his somewhat monotone timbre to effectively play the simulated character, who is given only just enough realism to fool Jerry. The simulated Mr. Marklovitz initially praises Jerry's "Hungry for apples" advertising campaign before firing him.

5 MC Haps ("Rick Potion #9)

MC Haps is Dan Harmon's flu-hating rapping student from Rick and Morty season 1, episode 6, "Rick Potion #9." MC Haps can be seen on stage performing during Morty's school dance. MC Haps later raps about how much he loves Morty, after being infected with the love potion flu virus.

6 Birdperson/Phoenixperson ("Ricksy Business)

Arguably Harmon's biggest voice role in Rick and Morty is as Rick's best friend, Birdperson. First introduced in season 1, episode 11, "Ricksy Business," Birdperson would become a regular character appearing in several episodes. Birdperson would later die and be reborn as Phoenixperson, also voiced by Dan Harmon.

7 Ice-T ("Get Schwifty")

Dan Harmon plays a version of the rapper Ice-T in Rick and Morty season 2, episode 5, "Get Schwifty." Unlike the real Ice-T, Harmon's character is a literal block of ice disguised as a human rapper. Ice-T is an alien from the planet Alphabetrium, exiled to Earth until welcomed home during the post-credits scene.

8 The Screaming Sun ("The Wedding Squanchers")

Rick and Morty season 2, episode 10, "The Wedding Squanchers," features a wide variety of characters and guest stars. "The Wedding Squanchers" plot sees the Smith family becoming fugitives, unable to return to Earth. Finding a potential new home, the Smiths are greatly disappointed to discover the planet orbits a sun that screams throughout the day. Dan Harmon voices this very minor, but hilarious character.

9 The Wedding Singer ("The Wedding Squanchers")

Dan Harmon also plays the wedding singer at Birdperson's wedding in "The Wedding Squanchers." Like MC Haps, Harmon is playing another rapping character. The slug-like Wedding Singer raps along to what he refers to as "space jazz."

10 McDonald's Employee ("The Rickshank Rickdemption")

As Rick is interrogated in his mind by the Galactic Federation, he is seemingly forced to reveal his memories of creating portal travel. Instead, Rick drags his interrogator to McDonald's to relive the taste of their Szechuan Sauce. Dan Harmon appears in the episode (Rick and Morty, season 3, episode 1, "The Rickshank Rickdemption") as the voice of the McDonald's drive-thru worker.

11 Student ("The ABCs of Beth")

During Rick and Morty, season 3, episode 9, "The ABCs of Beth," Dan Harmon plays a student in Morty's class. The student initially mocks Morty for needing to leave school and then questions his values. It is a very brief but worthwhile appearance of the Rick and Morty co-creator.

12 Bully #1 ("Edge Of Tomorty: Rick Die Rickpeat")

Dan Harmon makes a brief appearance in Rick and Morty season 4, episode 1, "Edge of Tomorty: Rick Die Rickpeat." Harmon plays the bully who picks on Morty while he's following the outcomes of the death crystals. A weaponized Morty ultimately attaches a device to the bully that lifts him into the sky in the episode's adaptation of Akira.

13 Anchorman ("Edge Of Tomorty: Rick Die Rickpeat")

Dan Harmon makes a second appearance in Rick and Morty season 4, episode 1, "Edge of Tomorty: Rick Die Rickpeat." Dan Harmon plays the anchorman reporting on Morty's exploits with the death crystals. The anchorman refers to Morty as "an unstoppable science-fiction boy" before infamously telling his co-host that "gas-lighting does not exist."

14 Heistotron & Randotron ("One Crew Over The Crewcoo's Mort")

Rick and Morty offers a brilliant spoof of heist movies in season 4, episode 3, "One Crew Over The Crewcoo's Mort." Dan Harmon plays both of the heist robots that Rick builds and sets against one another. Both Heistotron and Randotron exploit Harmon's deadpan delivery for a mechanical tone.

15 Tickets Please Guy ("Never Ricking Morty")

Rick and Morty season 4, episode 6, "Never Ricking Morty," features Rick and Morty creator Dan Harmon as a violent train conductor, credited as the Tickets Please Guy. As Rick and Morty traverse a narrative device disguised as a train, they confront the Tickets Please Guy. This leads to a physical altercation, during which the Tickets Please Guy rips off his shirt. After observing his physique, Morty utters his infamous "gutters" line.

16 Council of Glorzos Member 2 ("Promortyus")

Rick and Morty season 4, episode 7, "Promortyus" depicts the titular adventurers facing a species of face-sucking aliens called Glorzos. After accidentally leaving Summer behind on the alien planet, she inadvertently becomes the leader of the Glorzos. Rick and Morty return to the planet to rescue her but are captured.

Fronting the Council of Glorzos, Rick and Morty's Summer presides judgment over the captured Rick and Morty. Dan Harmon plays the Glorzo council member who realizes Summer is helping Rick and Morty escape. Harmon also performs the episode's song, "Glory to Glorzo."

17 Acid Man ("The Vat Of Acid Episode")

Rick and Morty season 4, episode 8, "The Vat of Acid Episode," is one of the show's most celebrated. Dan Harmon has a particularly hilarious role as the SWAT officer who is splashed with fake acid. He subsequently declares himself to be acid-proof, and the post-credits scene depicts the Acid Man's failed attempt to recreate the feat with real acid.

18 Reggie ("Childrick Of Mort")

Dan Harmon appears as Reggie in Rick and Morty season 4, episode 9, "Childrick of Mort." Reggie is a Zeus-like god figure who initially appears as a formation of clouds. Reggie is in love with the goddess Gaia and ultimately battles Rick in Space.

19 Mr. Nimbus ("Mort Dinner Rick Andre")

Rick's arch-nemesis, Mr. Nimbus, is introduced in season 5, episode 1, "Mort Dinner Rick Andre." He is an unusually outlandish character compared to Harmon's other Rick and Morty roles. Mr. Nimbus is an overly sexual amalgamation of DC's Aquaman and Marvel's Namor, and makes a brief appearance in season 6, episode 8, "Analyze Piss."

20 Tony Galopagus ("A Rickconveneint Mort")

In Rick and Morty season 5, episode 3, "A Rickconvenient Mort," Dan Harmon plays two characters. The first is the TV58 news reporter, Tony Galopagus, who is reporting on the forest fires. Tony Galopagus subsequently interviews Morty and Planetina and then enquires about their relationship.
