Angie Harrington is a friend of on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, but Whitney Rose had to remind her where her place is on the cast trip. Angie joined as a friend of the show in RHOSLC season 2. Lisa Barlow had a debacle with Angie, and supposedly did everything in her power to sabotage her catering. Other than that, Angie’s history on the show is a short story until Shahexposed happened. Angie’s husband Chris Harrington decided to get involved in the RHOSLC drama with an Instagram account targeted at roasting Jen Shah and Lisa. Understandably, Jen’s name has more media cachet these days, so she got top billing.Last week, Angie took to Instagram stories to answer some fan questions. It looks like Lisa's catering situation on RHOSLC wasn't the end of Angie's beef. When someone asked why she wasn’t invited on the San Diego trip, Angie wrote, “Shahexposed” and “Whitney saying I asked everyone to invite me is a lie. I didn’t care that much tbh. I spent a lovely weekend at the masters.” Whitney was quick to call Angie out with the receipts. She published screenshots of a text chain showing Angie's efforts to invite her, with Angie arguing that she could bring Whitney and Heather Gay together.
Whitney Didn't Want To Invite Angie On The RHOSLC Trip
On Twitter, Queens of Bravo brought the receipts and posted them for fans to see. In the text chain Whitney, who Angie called out for cheating rumors, argued that Angie should tell Heather the truth if that’s what she intended but that she wasn’t comfortable bringing her on the trip. Whitney suggested she ask Jen first. Then, Angie explained that production asked Jen if Angie could join the trip, and Jen wouldn’t “budge without a public apology.” Angie’s efforts to join the bandwagon first through Whitney, then through Jen followed by additional messages left on read, screamed thirsty.
Angie Looks Like She's Clout Chasing On RHOSLC
Angie tried pivoting by saying she didn’t ask “everyone,” but only Heather and Whitney. However, she also tried to get in through Jen making the statement valid enough. After the catering debacle and Shahexposed, Lisa wasn’t an option. Both Jen and Lisa have little interest in including Angie. When it comes to friends of housewives, the role is more demanding than some might think. If castmates aren’t sharing the intimate details of their own lives, the commentary on other people’s better be top-tier. Shahexposed may have brought some drama but it didn’t get Angie more screen time, at least in San Diego. Her social media clapbacks, sadly, are looking pretty weak, considering all that Whitney brings to the show.
While Angie was not on the cast trip, maybe she’ll get a chance to redeem herself. If she can show up wanting to be friends with The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast rather than just being a part of it, maybe they will want her on the next cast trip. Jen, Heather, and Whitney have closed the door on a friendship with Angie for now.
