According to reports, Mary Cosby didn't attend The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 2 reunion that was filmed on January 6. It is no surprise that Mary skipped out on the reunion as she had made more than one mishap on the show. Her first offense was the rumor circulating that her church was a cult. A former congregant of her, Cameron, told her fellow RHOSLC costar Meredith Marks that Mary's church is not a safe space.

Cameron also confirmed the rumors that her congregants believe that Mary is, in fact, God. Besides potentially running a cult, Mary has said racially insensitive things more than once. First, she referred to fellow castmate Jen Shah as a "Mexcian thug" and even tried to pay newcomer Jennie Ngyuen a compliment by calling her "slanted eyes" beautiful. There is too much heat on Mary, and it seems like she can't handle it right now.

A source close to People confirmed on Friday that Mary did not attend the RHOSLC season 2 reunion filming the day prior. They didn't reveal why Mary, who's feuding with Jennier, skipped out on the much-anticipated day or how her absence is going to affect her run on the show. Before the magazine confirmed the news, Brice Sanders from Entertainment Tonight had revealed on Twitter that Mary wasn't there for the taping of the reunion. Meanwhile, RHOSLC season 3 will reportedly start filming later this month. A couple of hours after Brice's announcement, reunion host Andy Cohen confirmed on his Instagram Stories that Mary was, indeed, not present at this reunion special. A fan asked if Mary was there, and he replied, "Sadly, no."

In turn, when People magazine reached out to Mary, who apologized for her racist comments, her reps did not respond to their request for comment. In the past, Housewives who have skipped out on filming the reunion did not return to the series for the following season. In 2013, Adrienne Maloof did not attend The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 3 reunion after fellow castmate Brandi Glanville revealed that she had a surrogate, which ended her time as a full-time cast member. Lisa Vanderpump also didn't return to RHOBH after she decided to skip out on the season 9 reunion in 2019. Jacqueline Laurita from The Real Housewives of New Jersey also didn't show up to the season 3 reunion, but Bravo clearly made an exception for her at that moment.

With Mary skipping the RHOSLC season 2 reunion, the allegations against her and her church, and her racial insensitivity, it seems like viewers won't be watching Mary on their screens next season. Hopefully, Mary will at least comment on her absence in the near future.
