During an episode of his radio show, Radio Andy, Andy Cohen revealed there is major drama in the upcoming episodes of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. This season has already had its fair share of drama, starting with the arrest of Jen Shah ahead of a cast trip to Vail, Colorado. Just before Homeland Security and the New York Police Department showed up to Beauty Lab to arrest Jen, she got a mysterious phone call and left, telling the women her husband was in the hospital. Her arrest wasn't caught on camera, but she was later indicted on charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing and conspiracy to commit money laundering. She allegedly targeted the elderly and others on a fixed income.
One would assume Jen's arrest would be the biggest scandal of the season. However, the accusations that Mary M. Cosby is running a cult have taken center stage. Early on in the season, Lisa Barlow introduced Meredith Marks to her friend Cameron Williams who was a former member of Mary's church. In this conversation, Cameron brought up the way Mary runs her church and outright called it a cult. He claimed Mary would call herself God and that he suffers from religious trauma from his experiences at her church. There have also been allegations that members of her congregation were forced to drain their bank accounts to pay for her lavish lifestyle.
Andy Cohen is now teasing even more shocking news to come in a few weeks. According to Page Six, during his Radio Andy show, he said something goes down in the last few episodes of the season, which shocked the women and will shock the fans. He explained that usually the women watch each episode as they're airing. However, Andy asked them to watch the remaining six episodes the night before the reunion so they could go into it knowing everything that was said and done. Andy further explained that whatever it is that happened greatly impacts two of the housewives specifically, shaking them to their core. According to him, once fans finally see the footage he is talking about, knowing that the women saw it only one night before filming the reunion, it will be even more shocking to see. He said there are only about five or six more episodes left in the season and that the drama he's teasing will happen either next week or the week after that.
One cast member whose opinion fans won't be able to hear is Mary's. Andy confirmed last week that Mary was not present at the reunion and discussed his feelings on her absence on the radio show as well. He claims they had a conversation shortly before he went on air on New Year's Eve and sensed she wasn't planning on attending the reunion. He also said he didn't think it was the best idea for her since it meant she wouldn't be able to speak up for herself and allowed others to tell her story for her. Andy said he feels that way about everyone who has skipped a reunion, claiming he would much rather hear what they have to say rather than what others have to say about them.
It will be interesting to see who is involved in the drama and what it's all about. Maybe Mary is involved somehow since she was the one who refused to attend The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion. Fans will definitely be watching the next few weeks to see what it's all about.
