Meredith Marks is speaking out after hearing Lisa Barlow's "vapid" hot mic moment against her on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 2. A recent episode ended with Lisa ranting about Meredith after storming off from dinner. Lisa was upset with Meredith's loyalty to Mary Cosby and ran to her room bad-mouthing her friend. While appearing on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Meredith responded to Lisa's tirade and explained how Lisa might be "projecting" her own mishaps on her.
Lisa has had it with Meredith, and she is letting everyone know it. Meredith and Mary have been close friends on RHOSLC season 2. In season 1, however, Lisa and Meredith were BFFs within the new series. Seeing how close Meredith and Mary have gotten has rubbed Lisa the wrong way. Recently, things went sour during the ladies' latest group dinner. Everyone got into it, including Lisa and Mary. When Meredith opted to remain allies with Mary, however, Lisa stormed off from the dinner in a fit of rage.
Knowing that she was still wearing a microphone, Lisa went on a verbal tirade against Meredith and called her many things that weren't nice. Appearing on Watch What Happens Live after the episode aired (full video below), Meredith shared her response and the apology that Lisa gave her afterward. "When Lisa apologized to me later on, she told me that somebody told her that I said her house was ugly and that's why she felt [like] that tirade was justified," Meredith explained. "I don't really understand that. That seems quite vapid to me," she noted. Meredith went on to share the previous "clues" that let her know Lisa was harboring so much hatred towards her.
Apparently, Lisa had been "blocking her [Instagram] Stories from my husband and children," Meredith shared. "But this level of hate is far beyond anything I could've ever imagined." The hot mic moment made Lisa's distaste for Meredith visibly clear. After ranting against her friend, Lisa opened her door and handed the mic back to the producer. The move seemingly confirmed that Lisa knew she was being recorded and Meredith would hear everything she was saying. Her apology to Meredith also hints at the guilt that Lisa felt afterward. Between the hot mic moment and all of the arguments Lisa and Meredith got into on RHOSLC season 2, it's clear that their friendship is over.
Lisa and Meredith showed loyalty to each other in season 1, but Meredith's loyalty to Mary has continued to garner her new enemies. The tiny jabs Meredith and Lisa have been making at each other were bound to explode. The drama between them is more than enough to carry over into The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 3. Lisa has more enemies on her hit list as the ladies have already kicked off filming. Lisa was able to make amends with Whitney Rose and Heather Gay. Maybe she'll play nice with them now that she's lost her friendship with Meredith. When it comes to Meredith, her friendship list is non-existent outside of Mary. Maybe viewers will get to see Meredith and Lisa hash things out in season 3.
