Jen Shah will soon be headed to trial in March 2022 after The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star's co-defendants all plead guilty. With Jen being the only one to remain adamant about her innocence, she's set to face a judge who could rule against her. If found guilty, Jen is facing upwards of 30 years in prison for felony wire fraud and money laundering charges. As Jen prepares to go up against her former colleagues, she is making requests in the hopes of having the odds in her favor.

The Housewives fanbase was shocked last March when Jen was arrested and taken into police custody while filming a scene for RHOSLC season 2. Jen and her former personal assistant Stuart Smith were charged for their alleged involvement in a nationwide telemarketing scheme. In April, Jen pleaded not guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering. In the months that followed, Stuart would seemingly flip on Jen and plead guilty, making it even more suspicious why Jen is claiming she's innocent if her own assistant says he isn't. Most recently, another one of Jen's co-defendants pleaded guilty making Jen the only one to plead not guilty.

With Jen staying adamant about her innocence, she's set to begin trial next month. Attorney Ronald Richards has kept the Housewives community updated on Jen and Erika Girardi's ongoing legal cases. Richards recently shared a tweet revealing that Jen's "last co-defendant Cameron Brewster has decided to fold his cards and plead guilty." With Jen now set to go against her former business partners, Richards says the trial will follow "Shah vs. USA's telemarketing con men snitching comes next." When a curious fan asked if Jen still would have an option for a plea deal, Richards replied, "no." In that case, Jen could try to switch her plea and say she's guilty. Alas, Richards says any plea she might receive would "be a horrible offer." Richards explained, “I mean of course she could do that it's better than the suicide mission [she's] on now."

Jen is accused of preying on victims - most of them elderly - and selling shady services that they never received. Jen was charged for allegedly selling lead lists where these types of victims would be targeted and persuaded to sign into questionable deals that aimed to suck their finances dry. While Jen has presented herself as a businesswoman on RHOSLC, her exact title and ventures remained a mystery. Season 2 has seen Jen breaking down in tears while professing her innocence. In the end, however, a judge will decide her fate.

With RHOSLC season 3 underway, Jen's trial will likely take center stage on the show. Jen won't be the first housewife to have a serious trial followed on the show. Hopefully, Jen won't face the same fate as Teresa Giudice and end up being sent to prison. However, Jen is facing a lot more time than Teresa was. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star could be filming her last season if she does get sentenced to jail. As a wife and a mother of two, the case has been taking a toll on Jen's family and the Bravo cameras are capturing it all.
