The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City executive producer Andy Cohen has finally spoken out regarding his disappointment with Mary Cosby not showing up to film the three-part reunion. The preacher was a no-show at the tell-all after a fiery season which showed her being accused of making racist remarks. While it makes sense Mary may not have wanted to be humiliated on national TV, Andy felt she should have told her side of the story.

In a recent episode of RHOSLC, the ladies came together at the international peace gardens to talk everything out. Instead of making up, the women found themselves watching Mary dig herself a deeper hole. The preacher had already offended newcomer Jennie Nguyen by referring to her eyes as "slanted." Mary was also caught speaking ill of Jen Shah as she compared her foe to a "Mexican thug." The Faith Temple Pentecostal Church First Lady saw nothing wrong with her remarks and instead doubled down when approached. While Mary made for good TV, her inability to understand how offensive she was will probably be her downfall.

There was no doubt that Mary had a lot to discuss after a questionable second season. Before the season started, audio leaked of her yelling at her parishioners as they accused her of running a cult. Sadly, instead of confronting her issues with the other ladies head-on, Mary chose to be a no-show at the RHOSLC reunion. Until now, Andy has remained quiet, but he finally broke his silence while speaking out on his radio show, Radio Andy, as reported by CheatSheet. The executive producer confirmed that Mary was missing but hinted that he wished she would have stood up for herself.

Andy sensed that Mary wouldn't show up even though he had spoken to her on New Year's Eve. While fans understand it is Mary's story to tell, Andy revealed that he got the feeling Mary was unfulfilled by the show. Andy went on to say that he hates when a housewife doesn't show up to the reunion, saying, "You allow the others to control your narrative as your last gesture. I would much rather hear from her." Andy even went as far as to quip that Mary was a big part of the newest franchise's success. Andy wished that Mary had been honest with him, saying, "I would have liked for her to come back to the reunion, have her say and leave with her head held high and then make the decision."

Fans were surprised to hear that Mary made the decision to sit the reunion out, especially since she never had a hard time expressing her opinions while on the show. It was recently revealed that Mary only earned around $6,000 an episode. Fans of RHOSLC feel the money may not have been enough for her to feel it was worth sitting on the couch and being grilled. Either way, Andy has promised that even in her absence, the reunion was still extremely juicy.
