Michael Darby is responding to criticism from The Real Housewives of Potomac fans who were turned off by a leaked photo that showed him hanging out with another woman. Ashley Darby's husband has been plagued by cheating scandals throughout their time on the show, and Michael's latest sighting has many under the impression that he is up to no good once again. The leaked photo comes after the Darbys welcomed their second baby earlier this year. It also comes as season 6 reveals the lack of action going on in Ashley and Michael's bedroom.
The Australian businessman has been under fire over a recently leaked photo that showed Michael out at a nightclub with a mystery woman. Show fans were quick to blast Michael and accuse him of stepping out on Ashley like he has been caught doing in the past. During Ashley's pregnancy, Michael was photographed naked inside of a hotel room with another woman. At the time, Michael claimed he had just fallen asleep and was getting dressed when the photo was snapped. He didn't admit to any wrongdoing other than hanging out with a woman behind Ashley's back. In season 5, the couple opened up about their open marriage and how Ashley has invited women into the bedroom with her husband.
In season 6, Ashley has already opened up about the lack of lovemaking she and Michael were experiencing due to her second pregnancy. Now that the latest leaked photo is out, Michael is clearing up the confusion and explaining his recent night out. The Darbys appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, where Michael was asked about the photo. “Both Ashley and I go out. Sometimes we go out together," Michael admitted. "Sometimes we go out on our own. And so I went out and had a good time and of course there’s fans all over the place and they came up and [said] hello." Because of his reality star status, he said he is “always going to have pictures of [himself] taken in places.”
When it comes to those who think that Michael is back to his adulterous past, Michael is unbothered. “I really don’t care anymore," Michael exclaimed. "I have a good time and I love this woman dearly and we’re together forever." Cohen reminded the couple Michael doesn't exactly have the best track record when it comes to being faithful to his wife. But like always, Ashley stood by her man despite his cheating past. “Yes, he does [have my trust],” Ashley said, confirming the faith she still has in her husband despite how many times he has stepped out on her.
The Darbys are enjoying the arrival of their second son Dylan while raising their now toddler son Dean. Ashley has been one of the more transparent cast members on The Real Housewives of Potomac when it comes to addressing her husband's cheating, his groping scandals, and the lack of bedroom action between herself and Michael.
